calling this one the Chicago pack! named after the beloved city I lived in for 8 years post-college. my hometown aside, there might not be another place that has truly shaped who I am as much as Chicago… the culture, the people, the food, the neighborhoods, and the blues! I’ve been playing some blues for my girls lately - looking forward to experiencing the blues bars with them one day. until then, I present the Chicago pack. 💙

the devastation Hurricane Helene wreaked on the River Arts District (RAD) in Asheville, NC is unfathomable. anyone who has experienced RAD knows what an incredibly special and inspiring place it is, as it’s home to more than 300 artists in 23 buildings. not only have many of these artists lost their homes but also their art, and thus their livelihood. i wove this adult Adirondack backpack with Ashevlle in mind. if this pack is calling you, drop a comment or send me a DM - it’s yours for $110 local or $120 shipped. 100% of the profits will be donated to the River Arts District in Asheville to support the Emergency Artist Relief Fund. every little bit helps.

Does this happen to other makers?? Sometimes I make what I intended to make, and other times it just isn’t working and I make something even better than I could have planned. 💫

this little autumn tradition of ours is one my favorites. we forage around our yard and neighborhood for nature treasures then work collectively to make a piece of art on the cake stand from Daniel’s and my wedding. the only rule is once something is placed, no one can move it. 🌈🍁🥰
