Buying vintage for a better future♻️

We sustainably source our handmade vintage rugs from our hometown in Turkey & recycle them into pillows right here in Colorado! Taking our time creating batches of heirloom pieces that last, following our family’s tradition of organic + locally sourced materials.

We started Cazir with the need of reducing mass-produced home decor items that have a grim effect on not only our spaces but the world around us. 

Around 4 billion pounds of rug materials end up in landfills every year & 94% of rugs in homes are made up by synthetic fibers - taking centuries to degrade in a landfill, while leaking dangerous chemicals and pollunts in the process.

From an an environmental standpoint, it is best to buy rugs made of natural fibers and to repurpose these rugs as much as we can. With our pieces, you can shop in a more ethical way and reduce your overall waste footprint!

Mid-sized medalian rugs add an unmatched flair to any space. They are the key to layering rugs and stand out on their own, thanks to their colorful and bold diamond motifs.

These Vintage and handmade rugs were traditionaly made in Central Anatolia, Turkey. When starting our shop, this style is what sparked our interest in collecting rugs and well, the rest is history.
