There is a massive disconnect between glossy reveal photos and the reality of getting there.

Our partners at Showine took this space in Verona, Italy from a raw, dusty construction zone and turned it into an incredibly moody, high contrast cellar. Seeing the bare bones of the installation makes you appreciate the exactness of the final aesthetic even more.

It takes serious vision to look at exposed wires and bare walls and know it will become this level of dark, sophisticated luxury.

Brutalist architecture does not apologize. It relies on raw, heavy materials to make a massive impact.

The design challenge is bringing warmth into that kind of environment without ruining the edge. Our premiere partners in Belgium, Wine After Work, nailed the ex*****on here. By mounting our Vino Rails on Floor to Ceiling frames, they created a floating grid of wine that breaks up the stark, monolithic walls.

The bottles themselves provide the color and texture, suspended perfectly in the open space. It is chic, industrial, and completely uncompromising.

Stepping right through a wall of wine is an incredible entrance. For HGTV's Rock the Block, Taniya Nayak and Drew Lachey did not just design a beautiful display. They engineered a threshold. The center column of this glass enclosed cellar pivots open to reveal a hidden speakeasy, using our Golden Bronze Vino Pins as the ultimate architectural camouflage.
