We didn't supply this glass. We adjusted it anyway.

Eric at Squibb Estates had three pool gates on a remodel that weren't closing right, so we went out and spent the afternoon on them. No invoice.

The Polaris hinges give you almost no adjustment to work with, and the panels sat out of true, which is a slow problem to solve on half-inch tempered.

Worth knowing how they're built: a magnetic spring latch handles the lock, and two pins inside each hinge catch the door near the end of its swing and walk it to a controlled stop before that latch engages. That is the difference between a gate that closes and a gate that is safe.

It only works if someone takes the time to set it right.

The curved display at the front of Eye Pieces of Willits reads from the street and opens from inside through two oversized doors — one of them curved glass. Starphire, integrated LED, UV-bonded metal. Designed by Ideations; we're proud to have built it. Quality you can see.

Telluride. A 144-inch shower that wouldn't fit up the stairs in one piece, so we split it and let a header carry the seam.

Half-inch Starphire, polished chrome hardware by CRL, panels recessed into the tile. Two transoms crown the opening: one stationary, one operable, so the room vents without anyone touching the door.

The Trento hinges use the same cutouts as the Vienna series but carry a much bigger door. That is the only reason a panel this tall swings this quietly.

Two transoms crown this shower — one stationary, one operable, so venting the steam takes one easy reach. Below them, half-inch Starphire glass with the panels recessed into the surround, sitting flush so the stone runs uninterrupted to the glass. Polished chrome hardware by CRL finishes it. The part of a wine cellar you feel but never see. On this Fallbrook enclosure, the handle latch pulls the glass tight against the seal on three edges, and a drop-in seal finishes the fourth at the floor. That is what keeps the cold air in the cellar instead of the hallway — the coolers run easier, the room stays quiet, and the wine stays exactly where it should be. Step back far enough and all twelve feet fit in one frame. This is the full height of the Telluride shower — two panels of half-inch Starphire glass working as one, joined at the header, polished chrome by CRL, and an operable transom near the ceiling. What's the best way to give a product a premium presence? Wrap it in Starphire glass. Ideations designed this store for Eye Pieces of Willits, and we were brought in during the design phase to engineer the glass. Every display cube carries integrated LED lighting and Stylmark sliding tracks — some with swing doors — and all of the metal is UV-bonded, so the joinery disappears and the eyewear does the talking. The showpiece is the curved display at the front of the store: two oversized doors, one of them curved. We'll be honest — that curved door took two cuts.
