I started working with stained glass in Houston, TX about 30 years ago after I tried paint medium and wanted more light in the colors. My workbench, tools, and glass have moved with me over those years, first to Austin, TX then to Grand Junction, CO and now to Denver, CO. I first created panels and hanging pieces both large and small, with designed components and a strict pattern. I then moved on

to boxes, some with embedded shells or jewels or decorated with chain or wire. Around 2000, I used scrap glass to create abstract hanging pieces and abstract panels which I display on small easels. I expanded the abstract concept to using re-purposed free-standing objects such as a wine caddy, a candelabra, a photo carousel and used wire and solder to attach glass components, jewels, and mirrors.
