For me, that’s the Epilepsy Foundation and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado.

Mentorship and advocacy matter. Whether someone is navigating a medical challenge or growing up in a difficult home environment, having steady support can change the trajectory of a life. I’ve experienced real joy not only in giving back in person, but also in helping raise awareness.

Both organizations host local fundraising walks throughout the year, and there are always ways to get involved or contribute through their websites.

Giving back reminds me that community is about more than where we live β€” it’s about how we show up for one another.
