Lately, I’ve been time traveling… through three historic homes. 🕰️
At Dahlias & Granite Interior Design, I’ve been spending my days with three incredible beauties. A 1900, a 1924, and an 1886 Victorian.
Each one feels like stepping into another time, full of history and charm, as we thoughtfully craft it into a home for its current family. In the 1900 kitchen, we’re bringing in the most stunning replica hardware. The kind of detail that quietly whispers of the craftsmanship and care from more than a century ago.
But it’s never just about the hardware. It’s the whole symphony of design: vibrant colors layered with bold patterns, wallpaper that sets the mood, and all those little details that add up to a home with heart. From bold wallpaper and botanical prints to splashes of vibrant color. ✨ That’s where the magic really happens.
Historic design is about more than updating a house, it’s about honoring its story, celebrating its quirks, and creating a home that feels both timeless and uniquely yours. 🖤
👉 Tell me, f you could live in one era of home, would you choose the charm of the 1880s, the grace of the 1920s, or the heart of the turn-of-the-century 1900s?
And if you have a historic home of your own with a story waiting to be told, I’d be honored to help shape it into a place that feels both true to its past and perfect for your life today. ✨
