Install days are where months and months of vision finally begin to feel like home. 🌴 Our project in Boca Grande, Florida is inspired by the effortless beauty of coastal living—where every finish, fixture, and custom detail has been thoughtfully layered to reflect the character of this remarkable seaside town.

These are some of our favorite moments from install day—a glimpse behind the scenes as the finishing touches came together before the final reveal.

Some of the most memorable moments in a home are the ones that feel almost alive.

In this serene primary bedroom, Paul Villinski’s iconic butterfly sculptures appear to flutter through the open doorway, bringing a quiet sense of movement and wonder to the space. Their delicate forms blur the line between art and nature, creating the illusion that they’ve been caught mid-flight.

It’s an unexpected detail that transforms a peaceful retreat into something unforgettable.

Details are what transform a guest room from simply beautiful to truly welcoming. Here, every layer was chosen to create that feeling—from the custom geometric wall treatment that quietly frames the bed, to the sculptural lamps, and collected accessories that give the room a sense of history. Warm ochre tones and muted blues create a palette that feels calming and unexpected at the same time.

The smallest moments—a stack of antique books, fresh flowers on the nightstand, the contrast of tailored upholstery against handcrafted finishes—are often the ones that leave the biggest impression.

Perched high above the coastline in Dana Point, just moments from the iconic Waldorf Astoria, this project reminds us exactly why we love what we do. Every design decision begins with the setting—and when your “mood board” looks like this, inspiration comes naturally.

From the colors of the Pacific to the textures of the cliffs and the effortless elegance of the California coast, we’re creating a home that feels deeply connected to its surroundings. We can’t wait to share more of this incredible transformation with you.

Sometimes the best design starts with simply taking in the view. 🌊✨

We are so proud of the work we did together with The Vale London to bring my grandmothers art to life after years of hemming and hawing over how in the world to take a static piece of art and pattern it!! Thank you, Melinda! 💛💛💛💛💛

There are places that inspire you the moment you walk through the doors, and then there’s Parker Palm Springs......💛💛💛💛

Every visit reminds me why it’s become one of my favorite places to escape. The iconic mid-century interiors are timeless, playful, and endlessly inspiring. 🌟🌟Every corner is thoughtfully layered, every vignette feels intentional, and it’s truly eye candy everywhere you look.

If you haven’t been yet, it’s time to add it to your list. Trust me—you’ll leave with your camera roll full and your creative cup overflowing.

In this project, we paired a citrus lacquered antique Asian console with a vintage Mastercraft chair and a striking Bob Knox painting—a combination that feels both collected and unexpected.

Bob Knox’s work has a way of pulling you in. This piece began as a vintage House Beautiful photograph before being deconstructed and reimagined into something entirely new. It’s one of those artworks that reveals something different every time you see it.

The painting was sourced through William Havu Gallery, and the Mastercraft chair came from Chairish. We love mixing antiques, vintage finds, and contemporary art to create interiors with history, personality, and depth.

There was a time when one of my favorite weeks of the summer wasn’t spent designing homes—it was spent inspiring future designers.

Each summer, I hosted a design camp for 3–4 girls, ages 8–12, where we walked through the entire design process from start to finish. We began with a floor plan so they could understand the fundamentals of space planning. From there, we headed to the Denver Design Center to source fabrics, furnishings, and finishes, learning how every selection contributes to a cohesive design.

Back at our studio, we assembled everything into a complete room presentation, giving each student a fully designed bedroom to take home and proudly share with their parents. I'm sure they appreciated what it would actually cost 🤣

Watching their creativity grow and seeing them realize that great design is equal parts imagination and problem-solving was incredibly rewarding.

This photo was taken at one of my favorite Denver landmarks—the iconic, what I call the “French Fry in the Sky” at the Denver Design District. It brings back such wonderful memories.

Who knows… maybe one of these young designers will create beautiful spaces for a living some day. 🩷

There are days in this industry that remind you why you fell in love with design in the first place. Walking through the studios at —surrounded by archives, original artwork, generations of textile tradition, and the people who keep it all alive—was one of them.

Watching my son, .schumacher spend his summer immersed in that world made the experience even more meaningful. There’s something special about seeing the next generation discover the craftsmanship and curiosity that continue to shape our industry.

Thank you to the incredible Kravet team for opening your doors and welcoming us into your world. It was a privilege to experience it through fresh eyes.

The most memorable rooms usually begin with one simple question… what if?

I’m looking back at some of my most boundary-pushing moments in interior design: where we hung twelve chandeliers in the dining room, turned an old newspaper into wallpaper, and a hand-carved arch from Rajasthan found its way into a steam shower.

The best designs don’t play it safe. They’re born from curiosity, a little courage, and clients who are willing to dream right alongside us.

xoxo,
Andrea
