One year later, I still love this room so much. Congrats to all of this year’s incredible designers at ! 💖

The Pink Rhino Club was our speakeasy to the 50th anniversary Show House in New York, and such a personal one for me—a love letter to my grandmother, Elizabeth Monath, and to the color, art, travel and stories that continue to shape our work at ASI.

I’m looking forward to seeing this year’s house in person soon and celebrating everything they’ve created.

Cocktail hour without leaving the bedroom? Don’t mind if I do.

At Remount Ranch, we tucked a fully stocked br moment into the bedroom, with gleaming hammered cabinetry that catches the light against the reclaimed wood and moody textures surrounding it.

From there, the room unfolds in layers: a tailored four-poster bed, richly patterned textiles, deep green accents and a bath designed to feel almost like a private retreat of its own. Rustic, glamorous and just a little unexpected—our favorite kind of mix.

Hardware truly is the jewelry of a home—and sometimes, it deserves to steal the show. ✨

For this Colorado w**e room, sculptural snake hardware by Lisa Jarvis transforms these doors into something entirely unexpected. Set within a lower-level music room—complete with a framed original photograph from the Rolling Stones’ Beggars Banquet album cover—the detail feels perfectly at home: a little Rock-and-roll, a little irreverent, and entirely memorable. These intricate handles feel less like a finishing touch and more like functional art.

Because the smallest details are often the ones you remember.

Our goal for this Craftsman-style bungalow in Denver’s Wash Park was to carve out intimate yet welcoming rooms that honor the character of the original home. The result is a balance of modern and traditional, with just the right touch of boho.

And then comes one of my favorite parts: styling for the photo shoot. We bring in art, objects and finishing pieces to layer into the rooms for the camera, and afterward, our clients get to essentially shop their own home—living with the pieces in place and deciding what they can’t imagine the room without. It’s a much more intuitive way to make those final choices, because you get to see how everything actually lives together.

A sitting area should invite conversation. One of my all-time favorite pieces anchors this space: the praying mantis cocktail table by Jacques Duval-Brasseur, discovered at a Paris flea market. Equal parts art and intrigue, it sets the tone for a room designed for lingering, for tea, for stories that unfold slowly.

A piece by Thomas McKnight gives the room its lake view, transporting you somewhere else entirely. On the bar, a collection of ibeji sculptures from Nigeria nods to my childhood there, grounding the space in memory and place. Inside the glass display, a baby bottle with coral growing on it serves as a quiet reminder of our responsibility to the oceans.

Every object here has a reason. Every piece carries a story. That’s how a room becomes personal.

Wyoming, with a little glamour. ✨At historic Remount Ranch, we wanted the kitchen to feel deeply connected to its surroundings without being bound by the past. A hand-hammered brass range hood glimmers against reclaimed wood and glossy tile, while thick quartzite countertops echo the sandstone and shale of the Wyoming landscape.
