What started as an idea for a gaming and arcade-inspired space evolved into something truly one-of-a-kind. 🎨 Working with Denver artist RUMTUM, we explored ways to blend the playful energy of monday.com’s office with elements of biophilia and bold design. Inspired by Denver’s iconic 1-UP arcade, the final mural is a vibrant fusion of color, movement, and storytelling—capturing the dynamic spirit of the space. And if you look closely… you’ll spot a hidden llama, a nod to monday.com’s mascot and a playful link between local and international culture. 🦙🎮

We’re still on cloud nine after Kestrel Design Group won Best of Show at Prêt-à-Porter 2024! Now, we’re excited to share these stunning images and share more of the story and details over the next couple of weeks. 🎉⁠

Our design, The Land Beneath the Rose, was inspired by the rich history and culture of , created in collaboration with the Eastern Shoshone Cultural Center. Through the use of MDC Interior Solutions products, we deconstructed wallcovering yarns, sculpted acoustic materials, and crocheted dyed threads to reflect the beauty, resilience, and strength of the Eastern Shoshone Tribe. The wild red rose motif symbolizes the land’s natural beauty and the Tribe's enduring spirit. 🌹⁠

BEST OF SHOW?! Someone pinch us!⁠ ✨️⁠

We are honored to have received Best in Show at the Pret-a-Porter 2024 show this past Friday. It was whirlwind of blood, sweat, tears and ultimately, love, that helped us create this garment. We are beyond honored to have had our model and her family, members of the Eastern Shoshone Tribe in Wyoming on the Wind River Reservation, join us on Friday. We are so honored that the Tribe offered advice, spoke to us about what was important to convey, and partnered with us from the very start of this process.⁠ 🌹⁠

Thank you to for the Land Acknowledgement that recognized the Tribes in Colorado and surrounding areas as the original stewards of the land. It did not go unnoticed.⁠

Thank you to for providing us with everything we needed to properly tell this story. Who knew wallcovering could have such an impact?!⁠

Lastly, we are honored that we could do our part in bringing this design to life and sharing the culture of the Eastern Shoshone Tribe with our design community. We hope this is start of many more collaborations to come for our industry with Indigenous People who so deserve to have their culture celebrated rather than appropriated or simply passed over.⁠
