May-hem is in full effect, so this post is coming late night. As it turns out, that’s perfect timing for this speakeasy basement lounge. That staircase transports you in a magnificent way — the lighting effects wow, the color drenching immerses you, the hidden bookshelf door intrigues, and the liquor display and wine closet…well, it’s all the stuff of dreams. Cheers to that. 🥂

Waaaaay overdue for wallcovering Wednesday, but here’s proof that we’re busy bringing beautiful spaces to life. I’ll admit, when I entered the home design world, I was a wallpaper skeptic. It didn’t take me long to come around, and it’s not hard to see why.

You can pick one, two, or all three: color, pattern, texture.

Whether it’s nature references, metallics, grasscloth, or geometrics, wallpaper is a massive opportunity to personalize your space to feel just exactly how you want it to feel.

And, just in, I now have two new window covering lines to finish off the windows with as much love and attention as your walls!

A trio of baths in this beautifully updated Evergreen, Colorado home came out so dreamy. Earthy, grounded, and full of rich textures with thoughtful touches of color and pattern to keep you guessing, it brings a luxe spa vibe home. This family welcomed a new addition just weeks after the project wrapped, so these material boards will have to suffice for now. But I’ll tell you, the terrazzo, metal details, and greens and golds are even prettier in person.

The More You Know Thursday…

This time of year, I’m longing for green, florals, and my hands digging in soil. Really any sign of life will do! Turns out, that’s actually science.

I’ve been refreshing and repotting plants throughout my home these past few weeks — finding new spots for plants that are struggling with low light, filling empty pots with lovely new seedlings, and generally loving on the plants that have been purifying my air and spirit through these Winter months.

A dormant Christmas Cactus that has never before bloomed for me is showing off at the moment, and those fuchsia blossoms make me smile every time I come and go. Show me your favorites in your home!

Layers of natural stone, a blend of emeralds, blushes, and ivories, and plenty of brass accents brought this historic bathroom up to date so romantically.

This is the only bathroom on the second story with all the bedrooms for a family of four, so we had a long list of priorities and a small space to meet them in.

✔️ Elevated tub/shower combo that feels luxurious in every use case
✔️ Absolutely stunning green marble console sink
✔️ Quartzite make-up vanity for mom & daughter, complete with lighted mirror
✔️ Storage and display space over the radiator to make up for lack of vanity storage
✔️ Bidet toilet with all the bells and whistles to make every day feel like a holiday for these seasoned travelers
✔️ Careful thought to finishes that modernize the user experience but hold in reverence the historic nature of the home

Every square inch has a job to do, both in aesthetics and function. The smaller the space, the more it all matters. This is what a good designer ensures. Now’s the time to get started if you have a project on the vision board for 2026. 😘

This historic Park Hill, Denver whole home remodel is just beauty and bliss through and through. Rich woods, beautiful mixed metals, colors and textures in gorgeous layers — it’s magic around every corner.
