E took a pause and was able to remember what is truly important in life: spending time with family. A longtime carpenter and artist, he sat down at the carving bench with his two sons and they began hand carving spoons and ladles with their own handmade whittli

ng tools knowing that sitting down around the dinner table was the best place to spend that time. While the woodshop has changed and updated along with our products offered, those original tools still hang on the walls reminding us that our original intentions haven’t: to use heirloom quality, one of a kind materials with a timeless attention to detail and design that will bring beauty and conversation to your tables for generations to come.

These are our classic cooking spoons. With a nice slick handle that tapers for a good fit in your hand. Allowing for a firm grip and thumb hold. At the end is a hole so you can hang them. You can pursue in a set of 3 or individual. They come in walnut or cherry. Right now I believe they are in sets of 4 on our Etsy. That will be changing soon. These spoons well hold up to all your cooking needs!

One of our favorite autumnal activities is making a crisp from freshly picked apples, or pears in this case! We got to spend the day with our friends over at Heartsong Farm yesterday and enjoy just that, some wonderful food and warm drinks that nourished both the body and soul. What are your favorite fall activities?
