We're teaming up with Swan Creek Cabinet Company on a kitchen design, and we just had our initial meeting. Prepare yourselves, because this one's going to be gorgeous.

The vision: dark green and hickory, a little twist on classic Craftsman style. And here's the best part, this kitchen isn't just a kitchen. It's the kickoff project for an entire home remodel, so basically it's setting the tone for the whole house.

Right now we're partnering with another GC on floor plans and renderings for a primary bedroom, laundry, and bathroom. They finalized their selections, we updated the renderings to match, and sent it off.

Something a lot of people don't realize is this is a service we offer on its own. You don't have to bring us in for the whole design process. If you just need help figuring out a layout, or you need floor plans and renderings done right, we can do that piece by itself.

So if you're working with a GC and could use a hand with the layout, we're your girls. Send us a DM and we'll go from there.

Ten years of getting to know this community, one room at a time.

We're Wild Rose Interiors, a local interior design studio. Before we ever get into paint colors or fabric, we sit down and just talk. What does a normal day look like in your house? What room do you avoid? What's that one thing that's bugged you for years but you just learned to live with? That's where every project actually starts for us, and it's why the end result always feels like the client's home, not ours.

We stay through the whole process too. Sourcing, sketches, install day, all the small decisions in between that nobody posts about. The pretty after photos are only half the story.

Closing out the week by updating you guys on what we've been up to! We took a road trip north to Clear Lake for a site visit at our upcoming med spa build out. We met with the GC, framer, and electrician to walk through a few plan details, and we squeezed in lunch at Starboard Market, which honestly felt like it belonged in Nantucket. Framing starts very soon and this project is going to be sooooooo good.

Our team has been absolutely crushing our workload lately, and with our newest designer on board, I am SO excited about where we're headed. Speaking of growth... I'm about to get way out of my comfort zone and step in front of the camera more than I'd like. Please be kind to me!!

I'm really excited to share more behind the scenes stuff, plus tips and tricks, and I might even be bringing back "Free Design Friday" where you can ask me all your burning design questions! I tried this once many moons ago but I was a one woman show back then and honestly failed miserably at keeping up. This time around I've got a whole talented team backing me up, so I'm feeling a lot more confident.

Projects are rocking and rolling over here! We're presenting selections for three kids' bathrooms right now, and these are always so much fun. We get to push the envelope a little more on finishes while still keeping things balanced between "fun and youthful" and "still looks good in 10 years".
