Today we want to take a moment to recognize someone who rarely slows down.

Our owner, Shawntel, shows up for Petals & Moss every single day, even after enduring two major back surgeries. Right now she’s experiencing a severe flare-up of back pain, and while taking time to rest isn’t easy for her, it’s exactly what she needs.

If you’ve ever been greeted with a smile, received helpful plant advice, or found a corner of the shop that made you feel at home, you’ve experienced the care and dedication she pours into this space.

Today we’re especially grateful for her 🤎

These African Violets are a favorite this week. Did you know they can bloom year round with the right care?

They require bright indirect light, moist but not soggy soil and a well-draining soil mix.
