PRODUCTION MANAGER
Fashion Glass & Mirror, Texas’ largest residential glass company, seeks a Production Manager to add to our successful team due to expansive growth within the marketplace. Servicing Dallas, Ft. Worth, Austin, San Antonio, Houston and surrounding areas since 1973, FGM prides itself in its excellent workforce. Our production management teams in each location, benefit the residential market by providing stellar, value-added service to custom builders, design houses, multi-family communities, contractors, and residential home owners. As a core member of production management, this role will manage and maintain overall production activities, processes, output, inventory, training, and staff. Additionally, this position is responsible for all aspects of quality control, fabrication, installation, personnel scheduling and time management. The right candidate must be able to multi-task and communicate timely changes /updates to superiors, subordinates, department managers, and office support as needed while at the same time continuously making forward movement toward the growth of the unit as a whole.

WHAT OUR PRODUCTION MANAGERS WILL DO (Among Other Things)
Positively represent the FGM brand at all times, serving as a true brand ambassador
Function as a key point of contact for all aspects of the production department, reporting, and inventory controls
Coordinate daily production operations, monitor go-back rates and efficiencies to meet and or exceed company standards
Successfully handle multiple responsibilities at the same time, prioritize, and effectively communicate with key leaders and fellow co-workers
Recommend improvements in production methods, equipment, and operating procedures
Communicate effectively with production team members as well as other areas affected by the production process, cycle, and activities
Maintain proper inventory levels as well as fabrication output and waste reduction
Set team goals and devise creative ways to inspire and encourage their achievement
Go above and beyond, offering solution based and helpful dialogue
Support immediate and extended teams, while adding value and heightened contribution
Embrace opportunities to learn new skills and better methodologies
Partner with safety department to ensure proper adherence to company safety policies and practices
QUALIFICATIONS
Proven success in a managerial role, construction or manufacturing industry strongly preferred
Demonstrated strong attention to detail as well as professional verbal and written communication skills
Hands-on experience training and cultivating new employees
History of bettering processes through analyzation and ex*****on
Proven ability to learn new pieces of software
Ability to deliver engaging presentations and training sessions
MUST be a team-player and value the integrity of team work
COMPENSATION:
75k - 100k based on experience.
