This big beautiful hood has a curve at the sides and we have our crown going at the top and the vent was not able to be centered due to the studs with the height the top of the hood need to de trimmed slightly.

So working with our amazing process. construction team at Dillman Upton we moved the hood down 1 inch to give more room and to make sure when trimming the top a little bit it will be seamless.

Bottom of the hood to the top of the range should be minimum 30"

*keep in mind the top of the range height when measuring.

When working in interior design 1 inch here and there can make a big difference.

The clients really wanted to keep their flooring so we selected an off white cabinet and a dark wood island.

The client requested “castle” as the style they love details and want the kitchen to feel timeless while being updated.
