The Comerica Park Pizza Challenge 🍕⚾️

Me vs. Matt. Same cheese pizza. Completely different creations.

Matt added the red hot sausage from and turned his into a smoky, spicy pepperoni-style pizza 🔥🌶️

I went with the chorizo tacos from and somehow created a Mexican pizza combo that actually worked ridiculously well 🌮🍕

Combined total came out to $40 for both of us, $20 a piece, making it a pretty solid ballpark food challenge 👏

Social District in is always a blast!

Sometimes it rains and the turnout isn’t as great, so I thought it would be a good idea to cure my sweet tooth while supporting some local small businesses!

First stop was .mental.bakedown , where a ton of treats caught my eye! I got the s’mores cookie sandwich, the Oops All Berries Krispies, and the strawberry shortcake cupcake! Can’t wait to try more treats from here!

My next stop was .scs , a gluten free bakery where I loved their Italian ricotta cookies and their cookies and cream roll! Both were delicious. They had some focaccia there too that I’d like to try next time!

The final stop was Sweet Treats (couldn’t find her social, please tag if you can). She had a ton of creative cookie mashups that looked so good. Had to get the Cookie Monster one for the lil guy!

Get out and support local!

Mom trying the Motor City Crisp ☺️🍔

Still pretty wild seeing something that started in my kitchen end up inside Little Caesars Arena. You can grab the Motor City Crisp at Detroit Street Lab near Portal 28 during the playoff games.

On Fridays we wear orange 🍊🐯

The Detroit Tigers introduced “Orange Fridays” this season with their new orange alternate jerseys at Comerica Park, encouraging fans to rock orange and bring the energy every Friday home game.
