I’m having so much fun creating cards with the Silly Old Bear suite. After a cleaning marathon yesterday, it’s been a nice change of pace to be creative.

What are you up to, today?

Here’s a pair of cards that I created using the last 2 illustrations (card panels). It’s been fun getting reacquainted with heat embossing.

Last night, I found a little time to create a few more cards. That DSP (patterned paper) makes it easy to design. On one 12x12 sheet, there are 9 backgrounds in various sizes that look like illustrations straight from the books. So fun!

This card makes me happy. During the design process, I started with the Pooh and Piglet image, and then laid it out on some pink gingham paper. It was cute, but it needed something. That’s when I remembered this (white frame) diecut piece that was left over from a previous project. I began playing around with it, laying the diecuts on different patterns. The next thing was deciding the sentiment, and the rest fell into place. Since the coordinating green cardstock was so dark, I opted for VersaMark ink and white embossing powder. The steps sound lengthy, but this card actually came together fast. What do you think?

For now, I am done making thank you cards. I couldn’t resist playing with my new “Pooh” stamp set a moment longer.

👉 Silly Old Bear is a new suite of products that will be available in the Online Exclusives section at Stampin’ Up! beginning 5/5/26.

I paired Pooh and Piglet with some retiring (In Color) DSP and ribbon. Colors used are Strawberry Slush, Timid Tiger and retiring Pretty in Pink. While waiting for my new Stampin’ Blends to arrive, I improvised with some Spectrum Noir Tri-Blends from my stash.

To balance the orange DSP with the golden tone of Pooh, I opted to use a really old ink color from my time with Close To My Heart. Who remembers the color Goldrush?

What do you think? Are you excited for Silly Old Bear?

Today’s weather is giving me pink and orange vibes. How about you? What’s on your crafty agenda?

I am back today with a few more thank you cards. It was a happy accident when I paired this color combo together. Secret Sea, Fresh Freesia, and Cloud Cover/Pool Party are so fresh and fun…no pun intended. 😂
