The Great Fabric De-stash is underway!

Have fabric in your stash that you no longer plan to use? Now through June 20, bring your unwanted fabric to Quilt Essential and we'll help give it a new home while supporting a great cause.

We'll price and organize all donated fabric for our Great Fabric De-stash Sale happening June 23-27. Proceeds from the sale will be placed on Quilt Essential gift cards and awarded to local Family and Consumer Sciences (FACS) programs to help support sewing and creative projects in area schools.

Start cleaning out those fabric shelves, bins, and totes and bring your donations to Quilt Essential by June 20. Every piece donated helps inspire the next generation of makers and sewists.

“What is long arm quilting?”

Long arm quilting is a process that uses a specialized quilting machine to stitch together the quilt top, batting, and backing into a finished quilt. It’s especially helpful for larger quilts and allows for beautiful stitching patterns and designs that would be difficult to do on a regular sewing machine.

Many quilters piece their quilt tops themselves and then use long arm quilting to help complete the final step.
