Dearest art friends,
After a difficult spring and summer Ruby’s Makery will close the doors to our brick and mortar studio this September.
•••
To begin, I am so grateful for the continued love and support from our local Dexter Community, as well as A2, Chelsea, Saline, and Pinckney! I have so much enjoyed sharing creatively with our students, homeschoolers, summer campers, and parents! I know that the space we offered was a happy and memorable place for so many kids. It’s been wonderful to meet the many families who value and encourage creativity.
••••
I also want to recognize the amazing studio assistants I have had, many of whom have been with me since the very beginning. Without their ideas, organizational skills, talent, and curiosity, Ruby’s would not have been possible. Emily, Jenna, Tara, Courtney, Anisha, Olivia, and recently Emmalyn, and Macy. These kids have all showed up, worked hard, and made so many studio guests smile!

Ruby’s Makery will continue to exist, just differently. Perhaps in the future, when the storm around us settles and if the timing is right, we will be able to open up again. Until then, we hope Ruby’s will come to mind should you find yourself in need of some creative energy.
We will-
continue to offer private and in-home art instruction/sessions/parties
continue to maintain an online presence, sharing ideas and inspiration
continue to offer retail items and Ruby's art kits
We’ve wrapped up our last week of Summer Camp and are preparing the studio for an epic ‘garage sale’ Aug. 29 through Sept. 5th. If you are setting up a home learning area we may have something you need! Watch our social media the sale hours and photos of items available. A potters wheel, tables, art supplies, books, art kits, fabric, and SO MUCH MORE!

All the best to you and yours until we meet again!
Peace.
