A few years back these two became starry-eyed for each other at an evening church fellowship. Brook, as a member of our family, we have known his whole life. And it has been a joy to welcome Shyana into our family. When we started working with them on their wedding flowers, we quickly realized how kind and thoughtful they are individually and as a couple. If you’ve ever met Hunter & Laura, then you already know about their fun loving spirit and how their lives exude joy. It was a pleasure designing florals for their wedding as their wedding was all about celebration. We combined the earthy tones of fall with vibrant hues to reflect both garden bounty and boho whimsy.

When Streetwear fashion from middle America, aka Oklahoma, meets whimsical Boho from the PNW, a beautifully unique and artful style filled with vibrant color blossoms. Emily & Landon’s wedding embodied exactly this vibe. From bobbleheads and Nike Airs, to lace and wildflowers, the two of them created a wedding that reflected each of their hearts and personalities. Designing flowers for this wedding was both a creative challenge and an artistic blessing as it nudged us into a slightly different realm of design.

This is a continuation of the previous post for Lauren & Colton's citrusy summer wedding…
Many of the weddings that we have designed flowers for contain numerous personal flowers to be worn as a position of honor. There is a lot of thought and detail put into each piece. We simply think it is sweet to include flowers in the father's boutonniere and the mother's corsage that are also in their daughter's bride's bouquet. The groom's boutonniere usually contains some of the same flowers that are in the bride's bouquet as well. And yes, we do mirror some of the flowers between the personals that the mother and father are wearing and that of the groom's boutonniere. Call us sentimental or romantic souls if you wish, but that is just what we are about - unique custom designs for a very personal, special day.

Lauren & Colton chose a summer day filled with sunshine and sweet citrus colors that reflected their joy and radiance for each other. We had never worked with a color palette this vibrant before, but it was a truly delightful experience. The citrus tones really contrasted beautifully with the navy suits and the softness of the bridesmaids dresses, while the clean whites and the fresh green rolling hills at The View At Hillside Barn were the perfect foil for glowing dahlias, zinnias, and many other wildflowers that were among the brides favorites. Even though we have known both families for years, this wedding was a lovely, enjoyable opportunity to get to know them better!
We will be sharing more photos very soon of the floral personals, so keep watching for more loveliness.

Sometimes the fairytale comes true in a season a bit different than you ever dreamed or imagined. This was the story for our sweet cousin Anne. Love came for Anne and Joey unexpectedly, but it was oh so perfect once it arrived! While their wedding was all about family, and honoring traditions, it was stunningly beautiful in its simplicity. With their love for the outdoors and her chic elegant style, our goal was to create bouquets that reflected these elements. As The Best Aunt Ever, her oldest niece was her bridesmaid, and the younger niece and nephew were the flower girl and ring bearer – each having a special part in the happily ever after.
