Life After Loss: Part 4
| Where do we go from here? |
Wow. Putting this out in the world feels slightly scary, but also so relieving! I knew I wanted to end this series with this topic because, yeah, ITāS BIG š«³š¼š¤
Iām closing the doors at Sage Lane Cottage untilā¦well, I donāt really know when!š
Since the start of 2025 Iāve been wrestling with how to move forward in this business. In addition to this constant wrestling between my spirit and my flesh, Iāve been facing roadblock after roadblock in this season of my life. Itās been leading to burnout and I was starting to feel like a slave to my business, not a steward. Iāve been praying on this for so long and then started to feel the Lord slowly closing the door here but without any new direction.
Then Collin happened. The unimaginable happened. Jesus stepped in, in the midst of grief and heartbreak and planted several new seeds in my heart to sow. I wasnāt sure how I would ever have the time to steward these new ideas, considering Sage Lane Cottage/Apothecary consumes 80% of my time when Iām open and operating. And then I realized these new seeds are not to sow along with the old crop. Heās leading me into a completely new field.
Iām not hearing that the doors here will be closed forever. The Lord has given me a bigger vision of what He wants me to do here so Iām hopeful that will still come to fruition in His timing. But for now, I clearly hear the Lord calling me out of this business and calling me into a new one.
ā¼ļø With all of this said, Iāve made the very difficult decision to NOT move forward with our Christmas Market, but our Fall Market is still happening as planned and this will be the LAST time to shop with me until further noticeā¼ļø
I will still make my most popular apothecary items as I have time, but they will no longer take priority as I shift into this new direction.
I canāt thank you all enough for the continued support over the years (actually 9 years but for some reason the number 7 was on my mindš¤Ŗ)
Iāll still be here sharing a mix of content for now and I hope youāll continue to follow along in whatever new journey the Lord is taking me onš¤
