Hi All,

This is Max, Laura's son. As many friends and family were made aware already, I decided the community should also be aware.

March 12th, 2026 - I am heartbroken to say that Laura had passed away from her battle with cancer. Laura's Gourd Shop as a result will end sales and no longer take requests.

Thank you to everyone who helped support my mom's vision and craft, without you, Laura's Gourds wouldn't have been where it was. We enjoyed speaking and supplying you the best niche gourd decor and birdhouses for any occasion. Laura's Gourds FB page will stay up as a memento for people to enjoy Laura's work.

Farewell for now, friends. And thank you again.
