Even though both businesses technically have new owners, The Mix Picks Decor and I are carrying on the tradition of working together to bring you all Christmas! 🎄❤️💚🎅🏻 With that, the studio will be closed for the next week while the space is used to transition the store into Christmas. You’ll find me here helping my sister business out when current projects allow. One of the things I love most about my job is helping people make their home their own. The joy and comfort a home can offer is powerful. I’ve experienced it in my own home. When you walk in and can take a sigh of relief, feel that peace, and rest…that is good for the soul. 🤍

I met with a potential client yesterday wanting to refresh some spaces in their home for a graduation coming this spring. YES! People often wait until January to start collecting bids for that which may seem okay but is actually crunch time depending on the work that needs to be done. Her timing is perfect! What are you waiting for?!

I spent some time this morning working on a dining room design for a client and it reminded me of one from earlier this year. It’s always so fun to see a project come to life from the design concept!
