Good morning friends! While we work out the details of the website, here are some details about Lepin Gatherings!
For now, I will be taking appointments the old fashioned way, with a phone call and a handy dandy calendar! You can call 308-380-9426 for inquiries. Please leave a message or text if I don’t answer.
May 5th, 9th and 26th are already booked and I can’t wait to have people in there enjoying this fun and unique venue!
Please remember, this is a brand new business adventure for me so I will probably make mistakes and I will learn as I go!

***to clarify…there is seating for up to 75-80 people. 8 round tables, 54 banquet chairs, 2 pub tables with 4 chairs each, couch, 4 lounge chairs, 2 cocktail tables, and a table with 4 stools plus 6 stools at a bar…also standing room!

Hello Friends!
No, I'm not starting a bakery! I have had so many people send me messages today asking me if I was opening a bakery! I will most definitly leave that to Red Bird Bakery! But what I will share is the exciting news that the former At Home with Jessi Dee boutique will now be a private event space! I'm so excited to offer this unique space for all your event needs! Think bridal showers, birthday parties, small weddings, graduations, business meetings, scrapbooking parties, photo shoots, classes...the possiblities are endless!

I am also excited to be able to host unique and fun events myself. (Perhaps an original flea market) Planning events has always been so much fun for me and I'm excited for the possiblities this new adventure holds! I offically took the building off the market yesterday so now it's real! We have been working on creating a kitchen and will have portable table and chairs along with unique features and furniture to offer our patrons! It's very exciting! I feel like maybe God has more in store for me and this building. I know it may sound strange, but when I walk in to the space, I feel a sense of belonging! I hope you and I can create many memories in this building, because it's special!

While trying to think of a name for the new business, I knew I wanted to bring it back to its roots. This building was originally Lepin (pronounced La-peen) Hardware and was a staple in the community of Doniphan for many years. I also spent time with my grandparents at Lepin Hardware when I was a young girl so I feel like it was only appropriate to use it for the name. I just love it! I want this space to be a place to gather and enjoy eachothers company...God knows we need to get back to being together again!

I am still working on the details, so please be patient with me. I haven't started booking yet, but will very soon! I can't wait to show you the space. It will be magical!

Thanks for always following along on my new journey! I told my kids that when I'm old, I am going to have so much knowledge and experiences that I'll be a walking resource! Hahaha!

Hi friends!
I’m going to go offline for a while. Taking a little Facebook break! I have this incredible urge to focus my attention on myself and my family! Social media has played such a huge role in my life for so long…it’s been time consuming and very stressful to constantly have to be present and it’s time for me to focus my time on other things!

Hello friends,
I wanted to take a minute this evening to express my sincere gratitude and thankfulness for the support I was shown during my time at the store in Doniphan. Your kindness and fellowship taught me so much about humankind. People are wonderful. People are beautiful, and people are kind.

While this isn't the outcome I had planned for, I do feel in my heart and soul that I made the right decision to close.
It wasn't a decision I came to easily, but one that I felt would be best for myself and my family. The stress and time it took to run the business proved to be too much for me and my family. My joy for life began to evaporate and I just wasn't willing to let that happen.
As you are aware, I've never been afraid to take chances. In life, we are give opportunities to grow and challenge ourselves. We can either sit by and pass them up for fear of failure, or we can use those opportunities to learn new things about ourselves.
Every moment of every day, every situation, every person we encounter is an opportunity to become a better version of ourselves.
I'm not going to bore you with all the things I learned about myself through this opportunity, but I am going to say that I am happy and proud of what I accomplished. There is no shame in trying and not succeeding. I truly believe you learn more from failure than you do from success.

Many people have asked what the next big thing is for me...truthfully, the next thing for me is to slow down, breathe, regroup, re-evaluate and just BE! Take care of myself and my family. Be more present and spend more time with the people most important to me.

I don't want to be a woman whose life is marked by hurry. I want to be a woman whose heart is at peace.
