Fresh picked farm flowers will be at the shop today, 12:30pm to 6pm. The flower bar will be set up, pop in and create your own bouquet (yes, I will help 😃 just ask.) 3 kinds of Sunflowers, celosia, sage, marigolds, statice & ageratum.

35 years ago today, I married my sweetheart, Scott. The weather had been so hot leading up to the big day. However, the day of was beautiful, just like today. The sun was shining, birds singing, temps were perfect and a sweet little rain shower right before the vows. If I recall correctly the priest's sermon talked about how marriage was like farming and sometimes there would be a little rain. For this farm girl, it was all so perfect. Reception at Ivor Folwer surrounded by so many wonderful people still in our lives and oh so many who have passed on. I cherish this day and my husband, who stands beside me in good times and bad, sickness and health, richer or poorer until death do we part... (and because it's not solely me unless I joke a bit, still not saying Obey in those wedding vows! )

What's your favorite thing to do on July 4th? As a kid, we would pile in the truck (when you could ride in the truckbed!)and head to Geode State Park with all the family friends, their kids, the sailboats, kayaks etc for a big picnic, swimming and sailing. Simple and fun times!

Yards Sales in Donnellson today and tomorrow.
We will be open 12:30 to 6 Friday at and tomorrow for shop and a small yard sale on the porch from 9 30 am to 2pm.

It's yard sale day in town, we have lots of visitors! While everyone is out hunting for treasures, please remember to drive carefully, watch out for pedestrians, other vehicles and be mindful of where you park. Let's make sure we aren't blocking driveways or making sudden stops in the middle of the street. Have fun and be safe!
