One of my favorite parts of buying vintage jewelry lots? The random little oddities hiding inside. 🐚🐢🐟🧜‍♀️
It’s like a tiny treasure hunt—and you never know what’s going to make you stop and say, “Okay… what ARE you?” 😂

The weird little finds might just be my favorite part.

Like this mid-20th-century miniature hand-engraved scrimshaw-style sailing ship pendant caved in bone. It feels like it sailed straight out of another era!

This wonderfully quirky hand-carved bone fish was tucked into a vintage jewelry lot, complete with intricate black incised details and so much personality. Is it elegant? A little odd? Completely charming? Yes!

Or this tiny vintage oddity—a little shell basket overflowing with hand-formed flowers and the sweetest pearl detail

A bit of corals and an oyster shell.,,,

And because every vintage jewelry lot needs at least one “well… I definitely wasn’t expecting THAT” moment… 😂
