Festival of Lights arts and crafts fair next sat. Nov 9th!!
Picture a day in early November.
The days are getting shorter and there is a chill in the air. But you have a place you can go, to get out of the cold, to enjoy a warm welcome, to take in the sights and sounds of holiday festivities and the tantalizing smells of a delicious soup lunch to warm your body and feed your soul. With 27 plus North State vendors, a Dutch auction, and an amazing bake sale, you can take home treasures to begin your holiday celebrations.
This year is the 16th annual Festival of Light. There is no entrance fee.
The soup lunch, which includes homemade soup, a roll, a dessert and water is only 8.00.
You can have 20 tickets for the popular Dutch auction for $10.00.
The vendors will have a large variety of arts and crafts items to satisfy your every desire.
You will feel like you’ve been transported back in time to when life was simpler, and you can enjoy the strong sense of community in a small town.
And, if this were not enough, you will also be supporting Art, Music, and Dance scholarships for Trinity County children by buying Dutch auction tickets, the soup lunch, bake sale items and supporting the vendors, whose booth fees go towards the Festival of Light scholarship fund.
Come to the Veterans Memorial Hall, 100 Memorial Drive, on Saturday, November 9, between 10 am and 4 pm, let go of your cares, relax and enjoy the day. The Vets Hall is near Trinity County Brewing Co, off Hwy 299. Look for the Festival of Light event signs.
