Champ's Clock Shop has been family owned and operated in it's original location since 1967. Our out in the country location and low overhead allow us to provide a larger selection of high quality clocks at a much better price to the

consumer. The company was started as a hobby by William Jerry (Champ) Champion while he was employed by the City of Atlanta as a fire fighter and through word of mouth grew to the World's Largest & Finest Selection of clocks. The company name originally was a nick name (Champ) given to Mr.Champion by his fellow firemen and jokingly the locker he was working out of was referred to as "Champ's Clock Shop". We think the key to our company growth is a result of giving our customers what they really want when purchasing a clock. Over 99% of our customers from all over the world have rated us "Excellent" in Selection, Quality, Salesperson Knowledge, and the best Price. Every clock purchased is removed from its box and inspected. All are test run, detailed, & fine tuned by clock perfectionists. Clocks being shipped out are treated with the same professional care. Deliveries in metro Atlanta area are made only by a clock professional. A complete orientation is given describing all features and operations of the clock. All delivered Grandfather Clocks are covered by Champs three year in home warranty . All others have factory warranty.

Our most recent long range deliveries came to a close Tuesday when we finally completed the work portion of our 4200 mile journey.  The trip started out and planning to move a rare wood gear clock to the Chicago area. This turned into a purchase in Murfreesboro, a delivery in St. Louis, moving 2 Clocks from Chicago to Marietta, Georgia, and a visit to a few old and new Clock friends who also share the love of the Clock business. One of our stays at the Wies mansion b&b, Waterloo IA, ended up getting their clock running while we were staying there. And today the two Clocks from Chicago area were delivered to their new home operating like a champ.  I included some photos from the twisties Road. The Clock shop band has ever traveled, snake alley, the groundhog Day Clock at the Cherry tree bed-and-breakfast, a Chelsea Clock in Manitowoc, Michigan,  ice cream, and Chatham Michigan with a family friend.
 Surprise visits to field of dreams, the grumpy old men neighborhood, the last Corvair body ever made, Abraham Lincoln’s home in Springfield, even a trip to the future birthplace of Captain Kirk. I was telling my customer today all the places that his Clock had visited over the last two weeks.

Sometimes our deliveries turn into a pleasure, Trip when the works all done. We had deliveries in St. Louis Chicago and a pick up in Chicago, our hearts go out to the folks that had so much damage from those storms that was terrible. Then further north to the end of Highway 41 visited a lighthouse there with a very nice Seth Thomas regulator which automatically sounded the fog signal once a minute.

Crafted in oak solids and veneers, a simple, pinch-waisted case extolls the virtues of days gone by. Wooden k***s--right down to the wooden bottom door latch--combine with the narrow, starkly simple lines of the lower-case door to enhance the look of an early colonial lifestyle. A triple chime chain movement sounds a traditional note with the Old World tones of Westminster, Whittington, and St. Michael's chimes, with time's interpretation reflected in a simple Roman numeral dial. A choice of unadorned oak or painted finish underscores this unpretentious floor clock's antique heritage. Also available in SLATE GRAY (-SG) finish (shown below).

This particular clock "Model 886-1SG/CT Barley Sheaf Farm" was made February 1993 and shipped to May 2 1994 along with 27 other beautiful Sligh Clocks. These clocks were part of a Series by Sligh Clock, The Country Inn's and Backroads Collection. This particular clock was named after "The Inn at Barley Sheaf Farm" located at 5281 York Rd, Holicong, PA 18928.
Barley Sheaf Farm is the oldest accredited country inn in Bucks County. Dated 1846, the original for this clock was discovered in one of Pennsylvania's myriad antique shops.
