The Trades Fair at LBL Homeplace was such a wonderful experience! So peaceful. It was a lot of fun being dressed up in a 1850 dress. So many nice people there. The highlight of my two days there was two girls (not in the same family). Aubrey’s eyes fixed in the little mouse. And she lit up when she proudly walked away with her new friend. She came back to tell me that the blacksmith made a little sword out of a nail for her mouse. Lol
And Darby went home with a doll with curly hair. She was so happy. I saw her walking around playing with that doll with glee as she held it up in the air above her head like her child.
So much fun.

I’ll be at at the Homeplace this Labor Day Weekend. I’m excited to wear a dress and hat from the 1850’s and sit on the covered porch at the big old house in the middle of the farm. I get to display some of my work (fun) and possibly sell a few. I plan on giving out my card and hopefully taking some orders.
