We are restocked on the DanDoh Linen with new colors! Clean, crisp linen fiber is spun into a unique chain ply structure, DanDoh Linen knits up into light and provides dramatic drape. Nice soft handle. This yarn was our most popular yarn last summer, with countless knitters making Agave. If you haven't yet, here's your chance!

DanDoh's Linen is an aran weight 100% linen. Each 50g skein has 124 yards. Hand wash. $20.50

The Skyline is fun to knit. Markers, yarn overs, and decreases create lines of moving eyelets. You’ll enjoy working these eyelets combined with stockinette. The simplicity of this design produces a very elegant top which you’ll love wearing. 5-10 skeins.

Lily is airy and elegant. The lacy design is a perfect summer layer, and includes three options for length and two sleeve shapes — it’s easy to adapt Lily to your personal style. 5-9 skeins.

The Oasis is a poncho-like garments, made by knitting one piece of fabric, then grafting one edge and seaming another to create a neck opening and one armhole. The purple sample is knitted with Linen yarn, double strands held together. This can also be done with a single strand of their Cotton Fine, which we are well stocked on. 5-6 skeins.

At 7pm tonight, my kid graduates from high school. You've seen her around the shop the last 18 years. She's one of our Sunday gals. She can knit AND crochet. She has opinions, including those about fashion and what I can make for her. She's heading off to Tennessee this Fall to study music. I am wicked proud of her and love her to bits. I thought going through some of my favorite projects that I've made for her would be a fun celebration. And wanted to share it with you since you all watched my kids grow up with me. Thanks for being in my village.

Probably the most worn item that I've knit for her is the Cloud Sweater. That thing is often found on the floor, backseat of the car, in pictures, on vacations. Four ball of Cloud, big needles, happy teenager.

Once we hit the tween years, summery crop tops were in. I made a few, including My Secret Little Crop. I'd recommend the Universal Cotton Supreme.

The Teddy Sweater is a top-down pullover done in a gorgeous yarn, Malabrigo Arroyo. The pocket is given a “bear” face for added cute factor.

I will always and forever recommend a Zip up the Back Hoodie for littles. Easy to put on and it makes them into adorable little gnomes with the pointy hood. This one I added my own lace panel. Others I have embroidered on or sewn a fabric pocket.

And I did finish her graduation blanket in time!

We brought the Chaski in last summer and I adore it. I made my Ooh La La out of it and it's great this time of year. This blend has been specially developed using the softest pima cotton, which is springy and structured, mixed with superwash merino wool. Easy knit and easy care, meaning it can be washed in the machine over and over without losing its softness.

Amano's Chaski is a fi*****ng-weight blend of 60% superwash merino/30% cotton/10% linen. Each 100g ball has 383 yards. Machine wash. $24.50

A summer top with a simple stockinette front and broad lacy slits on the back. Tsuzumi is an amazing interchangeable top that you can wear with the opening in the front or back. Plus, if you tie the slit edges at the front or tie at the back, you can enjoy different styles in 4 ways. Look at all the stylings on Ravelry. 3-5 skeins.

Isabelle Kraemer's Topolino in this Chaski would be a fabulous summer evening sweater. The crisp yarn would show off the lace beautifully. And you could wear it out to Dover's newest restaurant by the same name, Evan Hennessey's Topolino. 3-5 skeins.

This yarn was actually introduced as Amano's sock yarn. Who knew? Consider the Botanica Socks with their beautiful leafy lace. The special thing about this pattern is that you can knit them toe-up or cuff down! They are worked in the round and the instructions are provided for both methods, so you can use your preferred one. 1 skein.

We add more colors of this line every year. Sun and natural come together! Organic pima cotton and fine merino wool in a cabled twist lofts beautifully with big yardage. A cool summer color palette reminiscent of opening a box of saltwater taffy! This is one of our most popular multi-season yarns.

Plymouth's Sea Isle is a worsted weight blend of 50% merino wool/50% pima cotton. Each 100g ball has 329 yards. Hand wash. $19

The Tolsta Tee is a perfect basic raglan t-shirt that can be the canvas for all of your creative ideas. The pattern includes the instructions for the tee, plus an extra document with resources on how to customize the Tolsta to your liking, including stripes or eyelet rows. 2-4 skeins.

The Autumn League Pullover is a crewneck raglan sweater. The doubled ribbed neckband, v-insert neck triangle, and side slit details give personality and add to the classic appeal of this sweatshirt-inspired wardrobe staple. Meant to be well-loved and well-worn, it would look great in this marled yarn. 3-7 skeins.

Bear Paw Sock has been a fan favorite since it was introduced for Sock Squad and now it is a permanent addition to FDF! This 3-ply yarn has great stitch definition, and the grey yak makes the colors come out richer. Use it for socks, sweaters, and everything in between. You can pair this yarn with Oh Dang! for texture. Please note the yak in this yarn is a NON-SUPERWASH, so we recommend hand washing anything you make with Bear Paw, including socks, to avoid any possible felting.

Have you ever seen a cuter toe?? Inspired by Andrea Mowry's Ooey Gooey sweater, these socks will be the star of your sock drawer. The Ooey Gooey Sock Set takes one of each color with leftovers.

Starflight are knit from the top down, with a 1x1 ribbed cuff and a large quilt-inspired star on the front and back of the leg, with vertical lines on the sides. The socks have a flap and gusset heel, a quilted texture on the top of the foot, and a row of flying geese triangles above the toe. 1+1 skeins.

We brought this yarn in last Spring and couldn't keep it on the shelf! Back with even more colors and interesting designs by Yumiko Alexander. A unique combination of raw silk with a little spec of colors and silky cotton. Silk + is a very comfortable to knit and wear, it feels like cotton.

DanDoh Silk + is a DK-weight blend of 76% mulberry silk, 24% mercerized cotton. Each 50g skein has 227 yards. Hand wash. $21.50

Low Tide is an asymmetrical top shaped with tuck stitches. Tuck stitches worked only on one side of the top pull the knitted fabric up on that side. The shorter right side and longer left side create visual interest.
The eyelet stitch pattern between some tucks gives a light and feminine effect. 6-7 skeins.

The DanDoh signature cable, in Forest Weave, uses a dropped-stitch design that makes an eye-catching piece. This stitch pattern combines cables and dropped stitches. You will drop a stitch when you cross stitches for a cable. If you know how to work cables, you are good to go! 4-8 skeins.

Fusion has sleeves, uses a lighter weight silk yarn with tighter gauge, and it can be worn as a sweater for different seasons. It’s assembled with four panels using the join-as-you-go method. This method of joining is fun, makes a cable-like texture, and adds character to the top. Using two colors shows off the cable-like texture. 3+2 to 5+3 skeins.

This is one of my most favorite days of the year at the shop! Come, this Saturday, April 25th from 11-6, and celebrate Local Yarn Store Day! We have exclusive hand dyed colorways, free patterns, a trunk show, and the collectible LYS 2026 enamel pins. I hope you can make it!

Local dyer, ontheround, dyed us our very own colorway called Lovely, Dark, and Deep, as a nod to the Robert Frost poem. I'll let you guess the colors in the skein. It's on her Nimble Sock base, a fi*****ng weight blend of superwash merino and nylon. I've designed a cabled hat called Through the Forest that uses one skein, double stranded. $29/skein.

Cotton Air is a 2-ply, lightly twisted, fine cotton yarn with a crisp feel and good stitch definition.
