For the first time, I’m hitting High Point Market with my two girls by my side! 🤍

I’ve traveled this road alongside my husband and learned so much from the incredible bosses and mentors who helped shape my journey in the furniture and interior design industry. But this trip feels different. This time, I get to bring my team along for the ride. 🥹✨

Building Michelle Gentile Interiors + Home has been a journey filled with dreams, hard work, lessons, and so much growth. To now have an amazing team to share that journey with is more than a dream come true. I feel incredibly blessed to pass along the knowledge I’ve gained over the years, introduce them to the magic of market, and show them the ins and outs of an industry I absolutely love.

From discovering new collections and meeting talented makers to finding inspiration around every corner, I can’t wait to experience it all together. There’s something so special about watching your own team grow, learn, and become part of the vision you’ve worked so hard to build. 💫

After years of thoughtfully bringing this project to life, the moment has finally arrived… photo shoot ready! 📸🌊

From the perfect paint colors to beautifully layered bedding, every detail was an opportunity to breathe new life into this gorgeous lakefront property in Suttons Bay, Michigan.

There’s something so special about creating a home that becomes part of your family’s story. Slow summer mornings, long days on the lake, sunset gatherings, and evenings spent together turn into the kind of memories that last a lifetime. 🤍

This is what we love most about interior design — creating spaces that feel beautiful, personal, and meant to be lived in.

Moody. Luxurious. Personal. ✨

For this primary bedroom redesign, we wanted to create a space that felt rich and sophisticated while still feeling completely her.

We started with a refinished Broyhill Brasilia bedroom set, sourced from Modern Hill, bringing that iconic mid-century character and beautiful craftsmanship into the room. The deep burgundy walls set the mood and envelop the space in warmth, while bright green bedding from Anthropologie adds an unexpected pop of color—and a little bit of playfulness.

Then came the layers that make a room feel collected rather than decorated: vintage accessories, treasured heirlooms, meaningful pieces, and objects with a story.

The result is a bedroom that balances moody luxury with personality, blending old and new in a way that feels timeless, unexpected, and uniquely hers.

Because the best rooms don’t just look beautiful.
They tell your story. 🤎

Dolly ~ you will always been an inspiration to women everywhere. 🤍✨

A pioneer in country music and led the way when so many women couldn’t—not because they didn’t have the talent or the dreams, but because of the backlash, criticism, and expectations placed on women who dared to be bold.

She stayed true to her passion. Stayed true to herself. And somehow, through all of it, she managed to be glamorous, hilarious, talented, brilliant, and unapologetically DOLLY. 💕

My family absolutely loved her in 9 to 5. Watching women in the corporate world take charge—and then, well… kidnap their boss 😂—was just incredible to me. I still love that movie today.

And I have to admit… The Best Little Wh******se in Texas is another movie that vividly sticks in my mind. I honestly have no idea why I was allowed to watch it at such a young age. 😂 But I fell in love with the glamour, the music, the costumes, and ALL of those incredible outfits. I was way too young to understand what was actually going on—I just thought, “I want to dress like THAT!” 😂✨

And then there was Dolly’s most memorable lesson in my own childhood…

When I was becoming a woman and not developing as quickly as the other girls, they made fun of me for being flat-chested. My mom would always say, “Just wait, honey. One day you’ll wake up and be like Dolly Parton…”

Honestly? I was TERRIFIED. 😂😂😂

But that’s the thing about Dolly. She made women feel like they could be exactly who they were. Big dreams, big personality, big heart—and yes, big b***s. 😂

Love you, Dolly. 🤍

Thank you for your honesty, your talent, your humor, your loyalty to your fans, and for showing generations of women that you can be feminine AND powerful, glamorous AND smart, funny AND fearless.

The world is better because Dolly Parton decided to be unapologetically herself.

The most beautiful surprise from my husband… and I think he finally understands me!!! 😘❤️

These flowers are straight out of my head—exactly what I would have dreamed up myself. And honestly, they are the bouquet I wanted for our wedding but never got. 🌸✨

Kim at Bloom 3 works absolute magic. She somehow took everything I love and turned it into the most beautiful bouquet I’ve ever received.

15 years has flown by, and somehow I love you more than ever. Here’s to the next 15, and a lifetime still to go. 🩷
