My style is your style! Formal, MCM, modern, eclectic, transitional, traditional,,,,, I'M IN! I started my 36 year interior design career in formal drapery while going to design school. In 1991 I worked at Loomcraft. This is where I learned extensively about textiles, fabric content, formal drapery construction & installation. Everything from very layered window treatments like swags, cascades, jabots, cornices, to lambrequins. As well as extensive knowledge of custom bedding, gussets, pillow tucks, euro~shams, and tailored bed skirts.
I couldn't be more thankful to start my career with that knowledge. It is somewhat of a lost art in my field. I see improper installations on length, fullness, and in widths, as of late. Grommet draperies are to be installed as stationary panels.
I see them being installed to draw, which causes great tension on rods, therefore forcing them to falling off the wall. I was thrilled to design these formal Bohemian pleat silk draperies with blackout bump cloth and decorative bee trim on lead hem for the first historical home in Hinsdale. Brass rodding and draw wands for ease in use. Reupholstered settee and chair in velvet damask by Maxwell fabrics. By the way, I still install all of my window treatments. I'm thankful to be as eclectic as I am in order to acclimate myself to
any environment and design concept! Beautiful family, beautiful home sweet home. ❤️ Pindler Cassim Rug Gallery Maxwell Fabrics

Spectacular window treatment install at the Fulton Market master bath loft yesterday! My longtime clients wet room lower window is frosted for privacy, however much needed privacy was needed on top. Enter flat fold woven woods in a yummy earthy soft green! Custom shades were lined with a privacy liner for a little extra! I've technically been in the blind industry since running a wholesale showroom in 94' Kenny Designer Resources. I stepped back into the wholesale arena in 97' when I became a Hunter Douglas sales representative. Almost 30 years later,
I am still personally installing all of my window treatments. Beautiful family, beautiful home sweet home. ❤️

Happy beautiful Sunday! Currently remodeling a first floor family home in Clarendon Hills and then off to a stunning walnut mid century modern kitchen in Western Springs. This time last year finished up this amazing custom cabinetry install and remodel in Downers Grove! Inset white oak mini shake with channeled paneled accents by Lifetime Woodworking, Troy Lighting pendants, honed Raggio Di Luna quartzite island and cooktop splash, Honed Taj Mahal quartzite perimeter countertops & backsplash, Jeffrey Alexander Elara handles, Capitol Lighting slim chandelier, and Ruggable runner. Huge shout out to my fabulous client at the new build farmhouse in Manhattan! Her year round love of Halloween and old school horror movies such as Frankenstein, found its way to the upstairs hall bath featuring Spoonflower Gothic Mansion wallpaper. This was the perfect spot to showcase one of her treasured antiqued oak pieces that was retrofitted into a vanity. Delta Faucet fixtures, Mitzi sconce, Daltile wall field tile, Sherwin Williams Caviar on trim and wainscoting, and marble mosaic for the floor. Beautiful family~ beautiful home suite home. 🖤 Daltile Spoonflower

Fabulous gathering of friends yesterday for my 55th! Damn grateful for a beautiful group of people in my life! Super blessed and hopeful! I'm enjoying the day alone, (3 dogs gone has my home oddly quiet) and missing them all at once. Life is good. Enjoy your environment, buy what you love, and don't follow trends.I LOVE COLOR. Have a happy glorious Sunday. ✨️ ❤️✨️ Sherwin-Williams for Design Pros Sherwin-Williams Ruggable
