A familiar lantern reimagined for gas.

Converting an existing fixture to gas involves far more than simply changing the light source. The Philadelphia Lantern is a standard Scofield Lighting fixture, but this custom version required reengineering throughout to adapt the design for gas.

The internal support, burner placement, gas pathway, and upper chimney were engineered to provide the necessary fuel supply, airflow, heat clearance, and ventilation.

From the upper hood to the internal burner assembly, each component had to work together while preserving the character of the original design.

The finished piece may look familiar, but the process behind it is anything but standard.

From individual sheets of 23-karat gold leaf applied to a finished Acanthus Leaf Chandelier.

Inspired by 18th-century French design, the Acanthus Leaf Chandelier brings together hand-formed metalwork, delicate botanical details, and traditional gilding. Each individual element is carefully shaped, assembled and finished by hand before becoming part of the whole.

The result is a chandelier whose craftsmanship is every bit as distinctive as the design.

A finished French Station fixture may look simple at first glance, but bringing this historic design to life requires much more than the finished piece suggests.

Each fixture begins with templates, individually cut metal components, detailed drawings, then moves to careful hand-forming before the final finish is applied.

Every step contributes to recreating the character and details of this authentic design. It’s a look into the craftsmanship behind carrying these historic designs forward today.
