From concept to custom, this is where we thrive. As a metal shop, we have the expertise to take any of our original Scofield designs and rework them into something unique for your space.

Our friends came to us with a client vision: a blend of the Thomaston and French Station Hanging Lantern, designed to suspend from an iron gate.

The result. A refined 10” w x 15” h hanging lantern featuring a 3-lamp cluster, finished in our signature, specially formulated Bronze Lacquer.

Wall lanterns from the 18th & 19th centuries often featured reflective back plates to amplify candlelight, protect walls from soot, and cast light forward where it mattered most.

We offer those same historically inspired reflector options today (mirror, pewter, or brass reflector) along with a modern solid back for a contemporary look.

Fabricating a few Late 18th Century Petite Wall Lanterns. These were recreated from copper and finished in our signature bronzed copper patina.

Originally made in tin for interior spaces, lanterns like this once illuminated taverns and gathering places across early America. Similar pieces can be found in the Henry Ford Collection and would have felt right at home at the Eagle Tavern in Historic Halifax or the Old Wash Place.

A creative client working with our agent had a unique vision for our Hexagon Hanging Pendant. They imagined it hanging from their pergola-but doubled up and flipped, like two fixtures joined together for a bold, mirrored look.

The pendant was designed in house with an open bottom and features an internal bulb shield to stay Dark Sky compliant. Four rows of stability chains will be added on site to keep it steady in the wind. Crafted from copper and oxidized by hand adds the perfect, rich, weathered look ideal for any outdoor space.
