Hey friend,
Last week I shared the story of how a BLT led me to start baking sourdough.
This week, I thought I'd tell you how kombucha found its way into Gardener Bob.
I've struggled with digestive issues for as long as I can remember. For years, I was always looking for ways to improve my gut health.
I'd buy kombucha from the store because everyone said it was good for you. If someone asked me why I drank it, I'd probably say, "It puts good bacteria in your gut..." but truthfully, I didn't really understand it.
That all changed when I started brewing it myself.
There's something special about homemade food. Whether it's apple pie, sourdough bread, or kombucha, it just has a freshness and character that you can't quite get from the store.
Before long, I was experimenting with more than just kombucha.
I started making sauerkraut, kimchi, water kefir, fermented honey garlic, and discovering just how fascinating traditional fermentation really is.
Then, almost as an experiment, I brought some homemade kombucha to my very first farmers market.
People loved it.
That moment helped shape what Gardener Bob has become today.
Our business is built around three things we genuinely love:
🥖 Traditional sourdough and baked goods.
🫙 Homemade pickles and canned goods.
🍹 Freshly brewed kombucha and fermented foods.
Those three pillars tell the story of who we are, and I'm grateful that you've chosen to be part of that journey.
The next time you stop by, ask for a sample! We love letting people taste our products before they buy, because we believe good food should speak for itself.
And if you've tried our kombucha, we'd love to hear what you think. Leave us a comment on social media or stop by and tell us your favorite flavor.
Thank you for supporting our dream of helping others on their Health Journey.
