Martin’s is officially open for business at the new location . So happy the move is over. I have tons of art and moulding and supplies such as glass and acrylic at Greene Street if anyone is interested. I have until the 31st to get rid of it.
If On another note as many of you know I have a homeless artist that has lived in my basement since 2014, Bill Walsh . I can’t find any other business owner downtown that has any kind of space for him to live. He is 78 years old and I worry about him on the street. If you know of anyone please reach out. Thank you.

Martin’s Frame and Art will be closing at 251 N Greene Street today and will reopen around August 11th at 1828 Suite 4 Banking Street off of Battleground Avenue. It’s bittersweet to leave downtown after so many years but looking forward to a fresh start and hoping our loyal customers will follow.

After 45 years Martin's Frame and Art is leaving downtown. I received my notice from Elon University that I need to vacate by the end of August. I have leased a space at 1828 Banking Street with no storefront but I am sure my loyal customers will find me. It's a great area and I am hoping to do well there. Of course it's bittersweet but I am excited to try a new area.
I am trying to sell as much as possible because my space is much smaller and most of it will be work space, so I am having a HUGE moving sale. Lots of prints, framed art, ready made frames, House of Troy picture lights.
I will be selling multiple pieces of equipment. V nailer, fumigation box, oversize vacumn press, double mitre saw. I have boxes of frame moulding and a ton of Nielson metal moulding. Small supplies. Matboards, etc. Photo frames and small easels.
Thank you to all that have been loyal to Martin's for so many years. It has been such a great experience owning my own business. I look forward to seeing you at my new place in August and also to new customers in the area that hopefully will give me a try.
