✨ PRACTICAL MAGIC 2 + CANDLE POURING NIGHT 🔮🕯️

We’re teaming up with the Historic Elks Theatre on September 11 for a little Practical Magic in downtown Rapid City!

Your $50 ticket includes:
🕯️ Your candle-pouring experience at Urban Glow Candle Co.
🎃 First access to our limited Halloween vessels + special Halloween wax colors
🎟️ Your Practical Magic 2 movie ticket
🍿 A small popcorn + drink

Choose your movie showtime:
1:00 PM • 3:30 PM • 6:00 PM • 8:30 PM

Each movie showtime is paired with a candle-pouring time beforehand at Urban Glow Candle Co. Plan about 1–1.5 hours for your candle-pouring experience before heading over to the Historic Elks Theatre for the movie.

🎟️ You’ll pick up your movie ticket at Urban Glow Candle Co. when you come in to pour, then head over to the Elks for your selected showtime.

Spots are limited for each showtime, and our Halloween vessels are available while supplies last. Grab your favorite witches and make a day (or night) of it. ✨

PLEASE READ ✨ A little Urban Glow Candle Co. update 🫶

As a small business, I’m constantly learning what works, adjusting as we grow, and trying to make UG better for both you and our team. So, we’re making a change that I’m actually really excited about:

Urban Glow Candle Co. is now open 7 days a week by reservation!✨

And I want to make one thing super clear: reservations are FREE. There’s no deposit or booking fee. We simply keep a card on file to hold your spot. A $20 fee only applies if you cancel or no-show within 24 hours.

Moving to reservations actually means MORE availability, not less. Depending on the day, you’ll find times starting as early as 11 AM through 6:30 PM, with reservations available every 30 minutes.

It also helps me know when you’re coming so I can plan staffing, prepare the studio, and make sure we’re ready to give you the experience you came for instead of trying to guess when people might walk through the door.

And if you’re not a planner, don’t worry. 😂 Same-day openings may still be available! Check online for that day’s availability or give us a call/text and we’ll see if we can get you in.

The easiest way to visit is simply to hop on our site, pick the time that works for you, and reserve your seat for free.

Planning a birthday party? 🎂🕯️

We recently hosted the cutest birthday celebration at Urban Glow Candle Co., complete with donut decor, pizza, cake, ice cream, and custom candles. ✨

A few things to know about birthday parties at UG:

🎈 Ages 6+ can participate! Younger candle makers can choose their vessel, create their fragrance blend, customize their candle, and be part of the experience. For safety, they just won’t pour the hot wax themselves.

🕯️ Ages 12+ can do the full candle-pouring process, making Urban Glow especially fun for tween and teen birthdays (and adults too!).

🥳 Bringing 10+ candle makers? Your private studio is included with no additional rental fee. For groups under 10 who want the studio completely to themselves, a private studio rental is available for $150.

🍕 Bring the pizza, cake, ice cream, drinks, decorations, whatever makes it feel like your party! We have a refrigerator + freezer available, with just a $25 cleanup fee when bringing in food and drinks.

You bring the birthday crew + treats. We’ll handle the candle-making. 💕

A huge thank you to the incredible ladies who hosted such an amazing evening. It was our best pop-up yet, and we loved meeting so many new faces while creating custom car diffusers, room sprays, and reed diffusers with all of you. 🫶

Going to the Black Hills Yoga Festival on Sunday? 🌿 We’ll see you there!

One of the fun things you’ll get to customize is your own reed diffuser. Choose your fragrance, base, reed, cap, and up to 5 reed sticks to mix + match, including flower reeds to build your own reed bouquet. 💐

While you can make custom diffusers in our studio, we’re bringing even more ways to customize them to our pop-ups! ✨
