Yard Goals 2026...

Did you know that we have a heavy hand in the design of exterior spaces for our clients as well? The indoor/outdoor cohesion is so important to us, that we often consult with the landscaping team out the gates with regards to function, materiality, and space planning.

Still thinking about this pink kitchen. 💗

What started as a charming, (yet slightly more than gently used) mid-century home was adapted to be a casual and cozy rental property filled with personality. From the original 1950s GE kitchen to the terrazzo floors and wallpapered dining area, every detail was designed to celebrate the home’s history while giving it a fresh new chapter on a budget.

This commercial remodel all started with the vibey House of Hackney wallpaper. The existing office space was devoid of any charm or authenticity, but our client’s collection of antiques and vintage furniture set the tone for the soulful space.

We wanted to create cohesion, but not go too dark, so we mixed some moody Fireclay tile in the bathroom with pops of brass and aged bronze, which carried throughout. A custom burl wood wet bar complete with mini fridge and marble counter gave us that special, nostalgic feel we were going for, without feeling too dated.

In our Brooklyn loft inspired project, the primary bedroom was designed to feel quiet and grounding — warm walnut millwork, integrated stone nightstands, and soft textured wallpaper that makes the space feel calm without feeling overly minimal.

In the adjacent primary bathroom, we leaned into natural materiality with large format travertine, muted tones, and a freestanding tub framed by a softly lit niche to create a more spa-like atmosphere.

Even the laundry room was treated intentionally. Custom walnut shelving, with integrated storage helped turn a purely functional space into something that still feels connected to the rest of the home.

One of our favorite parts of this project was carrying the same warmth and restraint throughout every room — allowing even the smaller moments to feel considered.
