This happens so much more than you’d think. At a certain point it gets harder to make changes during a home build.. we always let us clients do whatever they want but we remind them a few key golden rules:
1- Design is a domino effect. That one change isn’t just one change, it affects the entire space and home design
2- Educate clients on the delays and timelines. Sure you can change it, but it’ll take three weeks the product to get here and another two after that for the sub to get back here to change it. Also there might be a restocking fee.
It really slows down a build when we get these last minute changes, again we’re always happy to oblige
