Even though I am mostly a sweater knitter, I absolutely adore an exquisite shawl design, like this Evening Sun shawl designed by our Spring from the shop. Inspired by her two favorite colors, Vintage Grellow and Yellow Brick Road Graffiti, this stunning shawl flew off Spring’s needles as many of us watched with great admiration. The design of this beautiful shawl will be launched this Friday and we will have the shawl with us at our booth at . And a new shipment of Merino Super Sock 🧶 just arrived today. We can’t wait to show you this beauty along with the yarns to make it .✨

I finally got some pictures of my beautiful friend ‘s High V loop Sweater this week. As always, we are in awe of Kathy’s vision and interpretation of colors. Kathy created this one of kind sweater by helping one strand of Homestead Sport and one strand of Olann Merea in color Poppy together. The sweater showcases the amazing color range from Homestead accentuated by the red poppy color. Thank you, Kathy, for showing us a whole new way of sweater knitting with Homestead.

Introducing my Etoile Ruffle Neckerchief in the ever exquisite Anatolia Etoiles 🧶 by .✨ Based on an scarf I came up more than 10 years ago and my love for this beautiful yarn hand-dyed by Julie, I designed this pretty and versatile little neckerchief with just one skein of Anatolia Etoile, a super soft mohair yarn (40% Silk) with the perfect twinkle. The here last week was the perfect occasion for me to share this design with all the crawlers. I was thrilled to see so many of you choose to knit this. I think the length of this neckerchief is perfect for it to be worn in at least 3 different ways. Swipe through to see how I wore it in 3 ways and hope my selfies are good enough to convince you.🥰

- We have designed two special patterns for this yarn crawl: a knitting pattern with one skein of Anatolia Etoile yarn and a crochet pattern using one skein of Merino Super Sock plus one skein of Anatolia Etoile yarn. Get • My winter break/vacation knit could be one of my favorite projects ever! 💙 The pattern is Hiekka by Eri Shimizu , and I used Merino wool from Camellia Fiber Company in Chicory from my stash. I didn’t have enough skeins to knit the oversized sleeves, but if another skein crops up I can always rip out and add on later. Thank you Forever Yarn for your beautiful selections, encouragement, inspiration and friendship. 🧶

It was a cold rainy Saturday today. But the beautiful FOs by Jacquie and her sister brought us lots of cheerful joy. I even got to try on Jacquie’s new dress and am so tempted to cast on one of my own.

On Jacquie, by published in Winter Issue. The stunningness of this dress is brought by the clean lines of ribbing. Jacquie used Luft to knit this. Her dress is gorgeous, cozy, and super light at the same time.

On Suzie, by .knitwear. Suzie used Teddy Dear and Tov for the hat. I am so so proud of Suzie. She did the whole hat on her own as a beginner knitter. This is her 1st hat and she is also wearing her 1st sweater as well.

I am sharing my new Rosie Pullover and some year-end happy moments to wrap up 2025. I have so much on my mind to say but for the first and most I want to say THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart for your support and love in 2025 and they meant more to me than you know.❣️ While I had to face some toughest challenges in my personal life, I am extra grateful for all the beautiful time we shared and the precious memories we built this past. Looking forward to 2026, I wish you lots of health, strength, happiness, and warm moments through hand making.

As we wrap up 2025 and get ready to welcome 2026, we are beyond excited to announce that we will be welcoming back to Doylestown and our shop for two new workshops on January 24-25, 2026.✨✨ As a well established knitwear designer and a beloved teacher, Aleks will be teaching Ladderback Jacquard and Faux Entrelac over the 2 day weekend.

Create beautiful stranded colourwork, not just from the right side but also the wrong side with this game changing float management skill. Ladderback jacquard will help you manage floats by keeping them short to avoid any snagging, while also opening up the possibility of knitting patterns which require longer gaps between colours. In the Faux Entrelac workshop, Aleks will show you how to cleverly combining decreases, increases and colour changes to create a slanting faux rib entrelac pattern that is ridiculously easy to knit but looks super impressive.

Aleks’s latest book Kindred Knits is a captivating collection of knitwear designs inspired by her Estonia family archives and some of her family’s heirloom crafts. WE WILL HAVE ALL 15 DESIGNS FROM THE BOOK FOR YOU TO APPRECIATE AND GET INSPIRED DURING ALEKS’s VISIT on Jan 24-25.

We have thoroughly enjoyed Aleks’s visit and the two classes she taught back in this past January. So we are super excited to host her again this coming January!

Happy 18th birthday to my beautiful Bevo!🎉🎂💙✨ Mommy loves you to the moon and back and I am so so proud of you. It has been a challenging year going from 17 to 18 but you kept going. I appreciate every day I get to spend with you.
