Before & Afters from the Highland AirBnB Project

This was such a fun one to be able to work on. My clients brought me in before construction began so I was able to design it with them from the ground up and that is where all the magic happens. It’s always possible to bring in a designer mid project and we will do what we can to make it what you want, but when you bring us in before they even start anything, we are able to think about things that you never even thought of that can totally change the entire design.

This is one of the rooms in our house that we have been neglecting since we moved in and it feels so good to finally have it feel more complete. It makes such a difference to have a beautiful place to lay your head down at night even if it’s just for a night or two ✨

These really elevated this space and made it finally feel complete. The pattern is absolutely stunning and the quality is incredible. My favorite part is that they’re prewashed and they have a button snap at the top edge to make them feel even more polished ✨

Some before & afters of our family room with the fireplace. Swipe to see how it looked the day we toured it 👉

It’s crazy to see the difference it makes with even just better furniture, but the fireplace adds the height and focal point this huge two story room needed from the beginning. Anything else just felt dinky and out of place in this room.

When we first toured this house (almost 2 years ago now 🤯) this family room is what made me fall in love with it. I saw how much potential it had with the tall ceilings and all those windows! I immediately envisioned a fireplace with built-ins and knew it was going to be tricky to do with the staircase and the upper windows, but I was determined to make it work. And I am so glad I kept pushing for it even when others (including Quinn 🤪) doubted how it was going to look.

It’s my absolute favorite room I’ve ever designed and I am lucky enough to live in it!

This cozy modern Highland project was such a fun one!

My client wanted to finish their basement and turn it into a luxe AirBnB and I am so happy with how it turned out.

Getting to take this project from studs to fully styled was a dream. Having a designer in your corner from the very beginning takes all the stressful paralyzing decisions off your plate and onto a designer’s who can help you, not only figure out what you actually want, but also what will pair well together and feel cohesive throughout the whole project. Not to mention, will probably save you from making costly mistakes or bad decisions you won’t be able to unsee and have to live with the rest of your time in that home😅

If you’re about to start a remodel, new build or knee-deep in one, feel free to reach out - even if you think it’s too early, it’s probably not 😉

Happy December 1st 🌲It’s officially Christmas season (although Christmas has been in full swing for the last month at our house)

Here is an official look at our 2025 Christmas tree from alllll the angles

We have the Alpine Fir with 1100 Warm LED lights and I cannot rave about it enough. It looks so realistic, is so full and my favorite part is that I can put it together all by myself in under 2 minutes 🙌
