This past week I have been focused on getting the store as ready as possible. Granted, we still need drywall and flooring but that will come in time.
I am estimating about another week until the doors open for our soft opening.

Domino hit the nail on the head, 100% fall feels in this room. The warmth that is brought in through the wood planks. The cozy linen bedding. The dark & moody rugs and the soft yet dramatic color scheme in this room make this room a PERFECT spot to celebrate snuggle season or to get away and just retreat. We went to Desert Door Distillery today and guys, I fell IN LOVE with their southwest vibes that are found all throughout this place! There is not a single detail that was overlooked or was a last minute thought. Down to the scents that they have filling the rooms... believe me when I tell you that every single square inch of this design was WELL thought out! My design senses were in heaven!
As most of you know, my family has 20 acres in Terlingua, TX that we plan to turn into vacation rental property. We talked about having a Sotol Distillery on the property and after today, my mom has caught the vision! How cool would that be?! Now, I don't know how far fetched that dream is (and you know I am capable of dreaming BIG dreams), but I had to share the design of Desert Door! They are local, off of Darden Hill. Their Spicy Matador is delicious! Pineapple, sotol, jalapeño & tajin salt. Yum!!! Get out there and support them. It is such a fun place with a great vibe!
