Buddy is home and settling in. Gaining his weight back from trailer stress and nursing his limp. Kiddo is over the moon to have his best friend back.

We have some new faces on the farm. Meet Penelope and Phillip, our new mated Peking duck pair. We will be offering a limited amount of young freezer duck for the 2027 season.

Also starting in fall of 2027 we will be now breeding our meat lambs to control the quality of our freezer lambs. Meet our first two ewes. Tomato and Pepper. They are Capac FFA project lambs that have been loved and cared for. Now they have a home with us to live out their days.

Sometimes the connection between a 4h-er and their animal is so strong that parents go to crazy lengths. Today is one of those days. The connection between my son and this wether lamb is undeniable. Friendliest and funniest lamb we have ever raised. I swore to myself years ago that I wouldn't get attached to a meat lamb or that we would never have a pasture pet (castrated male). Well today I am breaking that promise. We are at the auction to bring his best friend back home. Of course he needs friends so we will also be trying to get some breeding stock ewes from the Capac FFA that were sent to Marlette following the auction. If you asked me 5 years ago when he started 4h if we would be getting back in to breeding or if we would end up with a pasture pet, I would have told you that you were out of your mind. Welcome back home buddy where you belong.

Today is the day. First show to kick off the season. Restocked on a wide variety of our woodworking items. Also today in our booth will be the kick off show for Caiden's 3d printing business. Come by and check everything out!

Busy day on the lathe and in the shop. We will be kicking off the season this sunday from 12 to 4 at the Packard Proving Grounds for the Spring Fling kick off. We will have a large selection of our woodworking, new BBQ rubs, farm fresh eggs and products from a special new vendor!

We still have some limited availability for chicken reservations for the season. 5 chickens left for August 1st and 23 for September 26th. Non gmo fed, pasture raised chickens. Average carcass weight for a whole bird is 5 #. Available as Whole $17, 8 piece cut $19 and 8 piece with boneless skinless thighs and breasts $21.

Also 2 CSA slots left for the season.

We are gearing up for a great farm and show season. Some big changes this year.

We are starting our show season much earlier than we did last year. We are kicking the season off in Shelby Township at the Packard Proving Grounds on April 19th for the Spring Fling Market. We will also be returning to Le Fleur Decor for multiple dates this summer as well as the Packard Farmers Market.

This year we are still offering our pasture raised Non-GMO meat chickens. We currently are sold out for our May and August pick up dates. Currently we have 15 left for September. Chickens are available as Whole, 8 Piece Cut, or 8 Piece cut with Boneless Skinless Thighs and Breasts. Pricing:

Whole $17
8 Piece Cut $19
8 Piece B/S $21

Pricing includes transport fee and processing from McNabb's Chicken Processing. Pick-up of Chickens will be at the farm on the day they are processed.

Finally, New this year we are offering Community Shared Agriculture (CSA) shares. We currently have 2 slots left available for the season. There are two options for the year. Full Share includes 6 Whole chickens with 2 chickens in each batch plus 10 pick up dates of farm fresh eggs, veggies, baked goods, BBQ rubs and other farm fresh goodies. We also are offering a Vegetarian option that includes 10 pick up dates of farm fresh eggs, veggies, baked goods, BBQ rubs and other farm fresh goodies. We are currently restocking on our line of woodworking items for the show season. As products are finished photos will be posted. If there is anything that catches your eye shoot us a message and we can arrange for a pick up even if you cannot make a show.
