If you’re hosting a Mother’s Day brunch at home this weekend, you already know the food is handled, the flowers are ordered… but what about that finishing touch that makes the whole space feel intentional?

🐾 Some commissions arrive in my inbox as a gift idea. They leave as something so much more.
A sister-in-law reached out wanting to do something meaningful for her sister in law after she lost her dog. She didn’t want flowers or a card — she wanted her to have something she could keep, something that felt like her girl was still present in the room.
When she sent me the photo of it framed and placed beside the paw print and the memory box with her name on it… I had to sit with that for a moment. 🤍
That little watercolor is now part of a whole sacred corner of remembrance. And I’m so honored it found its place there.
If you have a pet you want to remember, or someone in your life who’s grieving a beloved animal, a portrait might be exactly the gift that says what words can’t.
