These amazing clients were my very first clients 10 years ago when the dream of AUTUMN DAWN DESIGN began. Together we have created a home that reflects their lives: the dreams, the work, the success, and the beauty of a life well lived. They are also some of my most beloved friends; we have experienced life together, from our kids in elementary through high school to now, college 🎓. I am so grateful to design a life with the most loving friends and clients. Also, the beloved clients we moved cross-country with last week. It's the clients and friends we have had the privilege of designing for through the different phases of life; thank you, each of you; you are loved.

We had the most beautiful summer. A piece of my heart flew away today to her Junior year at The Ohio State. Some days I still forget they are grown, and all I want to do is be mommy. My prayers and worries will never cease for you, beloved. These days fly by furiously fast; stop to take in the moments you can never get back. Enjoy it all: the good, the bad, the stressful- everything is a lesson. Remember to show more kindness; it's never a weakness, especially to those who need a little love. Strong women have boundaries; they protect their peace and keep their hearts kind. Have a beautiful year; you are loved. Xoxo💋

Sherwin-Williams just revealed the Colormix Trend Forecast 2027, "Rewild," an energetic palette in every hue, inspired by the freedom of creativity!

Rewild, Remixed: Seven Designer-Curated Palettes. My palette, “World View,” was inspired by my travels.

Embodying the Spirit of Untamed Creativity
Seven designers, 48 colors, and no map – yet this exercise proved that when you follow your intuition, you’re never lost. And when good design feels earned, not assembled, and color feels specially selected rather than overly structured, we let in more light, more life, and create spaces that resist the pull of algorithms and automation.

Autumn Dawn’s “World View”
Autumn Dawn, with a 14-color palette spanning a broad mix of hues and aptly named “World View,” took full advantage of Rewild’s prompt to let her intuition lead the way when it comes to color. “This palette feels multidimensional, inspired by my travels and the diverse colors I observe in the world,” she says. “The world has a long history. When we travel, we notice colors in things like marble, stone, food, and nature. Each one brings its own sense of time and beauty.”

Walking on sunshine and the beauty of good energy! Twirling into year 47 with hope, love, positivity, and most of all good relationships in life and business. It doesn't matter what anyone says; they go together. We can't lead healthy, happy lives without balance in everything. The more honest, authentic lives we lead, the better version of ourselves we become. I truly believe the life viewed from the outside is a reflection of our inner spirit. I have lived this firsthand on some of my worst days and my best. Although it’s not always sunshine and 🦋 butterflies, I’m grateful for both the good and bad days; they help us become better humans. Creating the life you love is about doing the hard things. How I love these beautiful rooms, but what we don't see is the year-long whole-home renovation, the walls that came down, the emergency gallbladder surgery I had to have while renovating the kitchen, the kids' there-and-mine leaving for college, and graduating from college x3. The beauty of friendship, laughter, tears while waiting for appliances during Covid, the loss of family members along the way. Every room tells a story of a life well lived and holds memories. Grateful for the memories of a room and the beautiful people who bring it to life. Create a lot of fe you love and live it to the fullest. 💋❤️Xoxo

“This kitchen is my almost perfect space. If only it would clean itself...” One of my favorite custom kitchen designs! We took a small kitchen and created a chef's dream. The husband of the home does the cooking here and makes the best homemade Margarita!
