Vintage doesn't mean "grandma's attic." Done right, it's the difference between a space that feels collected — and one that feels curated.

That's the whole secret, actually. It's not about how much vintage you bring in. It's about how you bring it in.

A few of my favorite rules, saved for exactly this reason:
✓ One statement piece per room — not five
✓ Keep the bones, change the fabric
✓ Brass + matte black = instant depth
✓ Let an old rug do the anchoring
✓ Odd numbers always read as intentional

Honestly? These are the little moves that make a room feel layered instead of staged — and that's the whole rad point of blending old and new in the first place.

There is something so special about looking back at the projects that completely embody our design philosophy. Our Seaside Retreat project is the perfect example of how we approach coastal elegance—focusing on comfort, natural textures, and light-filled spaces rather than literal beach clichés.

Instead of cluttering walls with over-the-top nautical themes, we leaned into intentional editing to make this cottage feel like a true sanctuary:

The Soft Texture Blend: We layered in beautiful, organic elements to give the spaces a grounded, earthy warmth. From textured stone lamps to woven details, it's all about how a room feels when you walk in.

The Intentional Details: Look closely at the vignettes, and you'll find the perfect hint of storied character—like the antique brass details and unique tabletop accents that add an old-world soul to a crisp, coastal backdrop.

The Light & Air: Every corner was designed to breathe, using strategic mirror placements and light colors to open up the layouts, letting the natural seaside sunlight take center stage.
