From layered textiles and timeless upholstery details to statement lighting and heritage-inspired styling, I came home with so much inspiration for Devon Downs Design projects ahead.

How many times can I possibly say “big beautiful lights”? Designers are absolutely not infallible. We make mistakes. But the true ethos of a good designer is how quickly you recognize it, pivot, and make it right.
The original lanterns we selected for the front of this gorgeous home just weren’t making the statement we envisioned. Once they were installed, we realized they felt too small for the scale and presence of the house.
So—we’re swapping them out, repurposing the originals in another location (because wasting beautiful fixtures is painful), and bringing in larger statement lights that actually do this home justice.
So yes… once again…
BIG. BEAUTIFUL. LIGHTS. What the actual… 😂
