This was my original bee mug design a shorter curvy mug with a muted honey color, as opposed to the newer modern shape with bright yellow and honeycomb.

Do you have an original bee mug? Should I bring the OG back for a limited run?

The best place for sneak peeks is always my stories. Check there for previews and my website for the goods. Local shops .dbq and carry a few designs of the glass tumblers as well.

Do you have a favorite plant? Pothos are mine and I don’t care if they’re a bit basic 😅

(I’ve been gifting paperbacks of The Handmaid’s Tale to women in my life for 20+ years now. Literally everyone should read it, now more than ever.)

Definitely a challenge on the enemies to lovers for me. The rest were pretty easy to find. As you can tell I’m a reader and most of my books are thrifted or paperback. Love them all the same!

I also found some books I bought and forgot about while I searched for these, so I essentially got to shop my own shelves 😅

I lost this little begonia leaf when I was (apparently not carefully enough) watering and rearranging my houseplants I’m not sure what to do with it, but it’s breaking my heart to just toss it. Any tips or ideas?

I fell in love this tumbler style when I started seeing them from other makers in either plastic or glass and adorned with adorable vinyl wraps and decals. While the design options are nearly endless, applying vinyl makes the tumblers a bit harder to care for.

The tumblers with vinyl can’t soak in water for fear of loosening the adhesive. They can’t go through the dishwasher for the same reason. While I’m sure they’ll last quite some time, eventually the decals will start to wear or peel.

Engraving directly on glass eliminates those issues! The glasses and glass straws are dishwasher safe, no special care needed. The bamboo lids should be hand washed (as should all wooden dishes), but are made from a much more eco friendly material than plastic.

While I can’t get the cute colors of a vinyl application, I love the sleek look of the engraved glass.

Sometimes I bake stuff. This is my second ever loaf of sourdough and I may only eat some heavily buttered bread for lunch today 🤫

Did you know I used to work as a baker? It was my first creative hands-on type job and ever since, I’ve not been able to stomach desk jobs. Nothing wrong with working in an office, it just doesn’t work for me. I need to get my hands dirty!

I’m finally beginning to set up my workspace in the garage now that most days are warm enough to be out there, and I can’t wait to dig my hands back into some clay!

Did you get to see the Pink Moon on Saturday? It was clear skies where I live and we had an incredible view.

These moon pots were restocked at .dbq on Friday and are available for purchase. (Planted. is closed on Mondays, but you’ll want to be there soon as I make these in rather small batches and there are only a handful available).

They are glazed with a glossy black and a real gold overglaze transfer is then applied with a splattering of more real gold.

Peony and bee perpetual calendar. I’m sure you know by now how much I love those little honey makers, but did you know peonies are my favorite flower? We had a row of pink and white peony bushes growing in the yard of my parent’s first home and I’ve loved them ever since.
