The enemy doesn't come for women who've given up.
He comes for women doing the hard, quiet work of breaking
cycles nobody else in their family ever broke.

And he's not loud about it. He's subtle.
He uses your own doubts, your own shame,
your own exhaustion against you.

But greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world.

For most of my life I thought my brain was the problem.
Turns out it was just misunderstood — by me most of all.

My brain isn't stuck. It's just starting from a different place.
And Romans 12:2 tells me the renewing of my mind is real
It just looks different for a brain like mine.

God didn't make a mistake.
I'm just learning to steward what He gave me.

"I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made." Psalm 139:14

For those of us with ADHD the emotional experience
of faith can feel like a rollercoaster.

Some days we feel nothing at all.
Other days we feel everything at once.
And both can make God feel far away.

But His presence was never dependent on your feelings.
It was never dependent on your consistency or
your focus or your perfect quiet time routine.

He is there on the flat days.
He is there on the overwhelming days.
He meets you exactly where your brain is today.

Show up to the best of your ability.
That is enough.

"Never will I leave you. Never will I forsake you." Hebrews 13:5

I spent a long time trying to earn
something that was already mine.

Trying to be sorry enough.
Good enough. Repentant enough.

Like if I just got the formula right,
God would finally look at me and say
"Okay. You can have it now."

But that's not how forgiveness works.

It was never something I could work toward.
It was something Jesus already paid for

And share it with someone who needs to put it down too.

watercoloring, ADHD navigating, sister in Christ.

Being a single Christian woman trying to live for Jesus is genuinely one of the hardest and most beautiful things I've ever done.

Nobody talks about how hard it is to love Jesus and still feel stuck. To know what the Bible says and still doubt yourself. To want to be free and not know how to get there.

That's been me. Honestly? I'm still in it.
