Who is attending Duck Jazz Festival today? Stop by and say hello on your way to the festivities!

⛈️ A change in schedule, but the music goes on! 🎶

The safety of our community, visitors, artists, and staff is always our top priority. With forecasts calling for strong winds, heavy rain, and possible thunderstorms on Sunday, we’ve made the difficult decision to adjust this year’s Duck Jazz Festival schedule. Trust us when we say that this decision was not made lightly. It is incredibly heartbreaking to find ourselves in this position yet again, but the safety of everyone involved is of the utmost importance.

That being said....

The festival is NOT fully canceled! While all events scheduled for Sunday, October 11, are canceled due to the expected weather conditions, we’re excited to share that Saturday’s music is still on, with an adjusted schedule!

Join us on Saturday, October 10 for two performances:

Adam Hawley: 3:30–5:30 p.m.
Brass Queens: 6–7 p.m.

Then come on over to The Blue Point for the Live Jam and continue grooving with us from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.

We know how much the Duck Jazz Festival means to our community and visitors, and we share in the disappointment of these changes. However, given the forecast, prioritizing everyone’s safety is the right decision.

A heartfelt thank-you to our artists for their flexibility and to our community for your understanding and continued support. We look forward to welcoming you to Duck Town Green on Saturday for an afternoon and evening of fantastic live jazz!

For more information, please read the full press release: https://ducknc.gov/news/duck-jazz-festival-announces-weather-related-changes-to-weekend-schedule/

Thank you for understanding as we make these adjustments with safety in mind. We hope to see you Saturday!

I thought I was ready for fall, but Giddy clearly understood the assignment. 🎃😂

That pumpkin costume and matching bow? Too cute! New Giddy the Goose outfits are arriving frequently at Love Duck, because obviously our geese need seasonal wardrobes, too. 🪿🧡

Come on in and see what’s new. Giddy and I would love to see you!

It’s one of those days at Love Duck where every time I turn around, there’s another box to open! 📦🦆

New inventory is still arriving, favorites are being restocked, and I’m busy getting it all out on the floor. If you haven’t stopped in lately, come see what’s new! 💛

Did you stop for gas at Han Dee Hugo on Duck Road at 12:23 today and visit Love Duck afterward?

Something was found in the store that may belong to you. Please come back in or send us a private message and tell me what you lost. I’d love to get it back to its owner! 💛

First, we don’t need to talk about my photography skills. I know they need work. 😂

But these pictures do not do the new eNewton bracelets justice. They’re so much prettier in person, and they’re already flying out of Love Duck!

I’ve already sold out of a few sets, so if one catches your eye, come see the collection soon. There’s so much more than I could fit in these photos! 🍂✨

My eNewton lovers, you are not going to believe what’s in this box! 👀✨

The entire fall line just arrived at Love Duck, and I audibly gasped when I opened it. If you thought it looked good online, wait until you see it in person. They are STUNNERS.

Stay tuned for a closer look! 🍂

A view of the sound from Duck this morning. It’s low here, but the wind is still whipping across it, with whitecaps farther out. And the ocean is angry today.

Please be careful if you’re out and about. Keep your distance from the water, pay attention to beach flags and local alerts, and give yourself extra time on the roads. Thinking of our neighbors up and down the Outer Banks. Stay safe, everyone. 💙
