One day!!

Happy Christmas Eve 🎄❤️
It is my frantic finish-all-the-presents-then-wrap-all-the-presents day! These little leather burned gifts are going to some world travelers that I know and I'm grateful I worked on them earlier this fall instead of cramming them in at the last minute. I did some bookmarks and other leather things last year, so maybe the wood/leather burning will be a regular Christmas gift going forward!

These pups can't wait! They're hoping Santa Paws will bring them lots of treats and toys!

I had fun with all the colors and some new textures with these two (thank you, procreate, for updating and making me so confused on where all my tried and true brushes ended up 🫠). These are my favorite pet portraits to do...colorful personalities and slightly more graphic style. Great for printing stickers or doing a little framed print...or maybe even some socks?! Doing an updated version of our pup .bean.sederquist so I can print it on a Hawaiian shirt is definitely on my list for the new year 😆

Day 3!

was thrown into the fire when I asked him if we could paint each other 😆 didn't he do such a great job with my portrait?! I know it's not easy to be married to an artist, but he definitely holds his own in all creative things we do!

I chose oranges, yellows, and a bit of red to represent his passion, energy, undying optimism, and zest for life 😊 He chose blues for me because I'm the calm one in our relationship 😆😌 We make a great team!

Day 4 before Christmas is double the kitties!!

I've been into acrylics and pet portraits this fall after a 7/8th grade project that had us painting local shelter pets and donating them to the shelter and whoever adopts them. It brought all of us so much joy and we learned a ton (about painting and the shelter) in the process!

This project brought a similar, electric kind of joy and I was SO happy to hear that the painting was received with happy tears! We sure do love our pets, don't we?? 🥹❤️

6 days! Skye is ready for Christmas 🎁🥰

I am done with school for the semester, we are on our way to spend Christmas with family, and life is feeling slightly back to normal after being sick for 5 days 🫠 I'm really hoping for a healthy two weeks of break!

Anyone else a coffee lover??

There's just something about a hoho mint mocha that hits different in the last weeks of school before winter break. Does it bring...a small bit of sanity? 12oz of joy in a cup? or even just...a moment?! 😆 Sometimes I think we (me and my coffee loving colleagues) are single handedly keeping them in business, or at least our local Duluth stores anyway 🙈❤️☕

These were so fun to paint for two of my teacher friends. Might have to do more in the future!

This is a collection of acrylic teacher's pet portraits that I created in the last few weeks as gifts to coworkers that go out of their way to be on my team, support me at the drop of a hat, and ask nothing in return. Really I need to add MANY more to this collection, as I am lucky to teach at a school that has so many incredible teachers and staff that I love so much!

With the start of November and the lead up to Thanksgiving and the holidays, I am so thankful for art and the ability to make all kinds of tidbits that people treasure. I encourage you to think about hiring an artist to create a special gift for you this year!

This adorable fluff has such a personality and is very loved by his hoomans! Photos I received for reference included a puppy shot with drawn on eyebrows, a very happy doggo enjoying a beach day, and this awesome cowboy pup 🤠 A Bear in his natural habitat!

Fully in support of dogs wearing hats, bandanas, and living their best lives being loved by their family. 💗

Olaf 💚💗

This sweet guy won the family lottery and is sooo missed by his hoomans! A little while after he crossed the rainbow bridge, his auntie reached out and now this good boy is forever and always, artistically and colorfully, part of his family. We miss you, Olaf!
