The Quilt Wagon will be out Tuesday evening!

We’ll be set up at Piedmont Piecers and open for shopping beginning at 5:30 PM before the meeting starts at 6:15 PM.

Come shop fabrics, notions, patterns, and other quilting goodies — and if you’ve never visited this guild before, this might be the perfect chance to check it out.

All are welcome!

✂️ Travelers Rest, Jimmy's coming your way!

Jimmy will be at the Swamp Rabbit Quilt Guild Sew Day this Thursday, October 22, sharpening scissors!

He'll be there starting at 10:00 a.m. and will stick around until there are no more scissors to sharpen! 😊

Have scissors that could use a little attention? Bring them along and let Jimmy get them cutting smoothly again!

And while you're there, why not take a little time to meet some members of the Swamp Rabbit Quilt Guild? It's a great opportunity to meet some fellow quilters and learn what the guild is all about!

Don't forget to grab those scissors before heading out the door!

November 7 is our Christmas quilting cutoff to guarantee your quilt will be returned in time for Christmas.

Well... I finally decided it was time to deal with the scraps. 😂 A couple of days ago, I pulled out one of TWO totes of scraps that I’ve accumulated over the years. I decided it was time to either use them or get rid of them!

I started by pressing everything so I can actually see what I have. Next up will be sorting everything by color—once I find the right storage containers.

Now I’m curious about everyone else’s scrap situation. Do you save yours? How small is too small to keep? And how do you organize them?

I may need some inspiration before I tackle tote #2. 😂
